This season has been the best season for the NFL, and it's amazing that the brand can somehow still grow.
Luck, RGIII, Wilson & Kaepernick in the playoffs, alongside Brady & manning really just makes for a perfect storm. Roger Gooddell may be hated by the players, but please try to argue he's been anything but perfect for the league.

That part. In terms of sports though, the decade timeframe is too long. Any win outside of 5 years is even grounds for "who cares"

See, I just don't agree with that. I am more confidant of Denver beating any of the NFC teams this year. Packers don't have a run game worth a damn, makes them one dimensional. Vikings onlyhavea run game. Seahawks rely far to much on their home field this season to win, and I think Manning can pick apart their defense. Redskins defense wouldn't stand a chance against that brain in Peyton's head and Denver's D is in the top five for a reason. Niners, just don't trust their QB to be effective if he makes it to the big show. And the Falcons, just not impressed with them even though they beat Denver early in the season. It was Mannings second game back and he made some bad mistakes, but they almost came back to win it.
Like I said earlier, the only team I feel is going to be a challenge in the playoffs for the Broncos will be the Patriots.

I don't see the broncos matching up well against the 49ers or Seahawks. The broncos love that outside rush which almost inherently gives the QB a lane to run as if the O ran a trap or counter.
to the broncos credit though, they have the 2nd best QB of 2012 tossing the rock around and if they get a lead on the 49ers or seahawks I'm not sure if either of those teams will look to QB scrambles to close a 2 score+ gap.
has anyone looked at how hot Rodgers' numbers were this year? he's been sacked 51 times, about 20 more times than the 2nd highest sacked QB. Has 39 touchdowns, 8 int and the highest QBR in the league.

It's not just on the internet it's in person, too. Actually more there because some people I know get close to tears when you try and debate them on an issue. Which is funny at first but then the relentless pursuit of yelling their point at you hours after you lose interest gets annoying.
