has anyone looked at how hot Rodgers' numbers were this year? he's been sacked 51 times, about 20 more times than the 2nd highest sacked QB. Has 39 touchdowns, 8 int and the highest QBR in the league.
are you saying rodgers is the #1 sacked Qb in the league?

I don't see the broncos matching up well against the 49ers or Seahawks. The broncos love that outside rush which almost inherently gives the QB a lane to run as if the O ran a trap or counter.

to the broncos credit though, they have the 2nd best QB of 2012 tossing the rock around and if they get a lead on the 49ers or seahawks I'm not sure if either of those teams will look to QB scrambles to close a 2 score+ gap.

I think the Broncos will destroy the Seahawks or 49ers if that's who they face. Rodgers is fucking Rodgers though. You can never count him out before a game starts and run game or not he's got his weapons back on offense.

The day they factor sacks into QBR is the day Rodgers QBR takes a nose dive into the Marianas Trench. The reason Rodgers doesn't have more INT's is because he eats all those sacks. I don't even know if it matters though. Their O is basically send some fuckers out there zig/zagging and catch the ball for a bunch of yards each play. Any down they snap it can be 10+.

I think the Broncos are the best overall team in the playoffs this year but BB/Brady can still beat them. It's gonna be an interesting AFCCG.

It's going to be awesome if the AFCCG ends up not having the Pats or Broncos in it. Media slobfest denied.

If the 49ers could win a shoot-out against Brady in his house, in December, they can keep pace with the Broncos. If the Seahawks can put up 40+ three weeks in a row, including against the best defense in the league, they can keep pace with the Broncos.

Superbowl champ will come out of the NFC West this year.

Not sure that's what happened. Patriots turned the ball over 4 times and scored 4 consecutive unanswered touchdowns in the 2nd half.

Not so much a "shootout" as much as the patriots worst defensive game of the year in the first half.

And to clarify a loss is a loss, and they certainly got spanked that day. But realistically the 49ers went 31-3 in 2 quarters, the patriots retorted in the last half with 28-10 and turned the ball over 4 times. I mean, there's a lot to say about this game.

You can spin it however you like. It's not worth arguing the semantics of the definition of a "shoot-out" and regardless it doesn't refute my point that the 49ers can easily "destroy" the Broncos in a potential Superbowl match-up and you can point to that Patriots game as evidence.

truth, the 49ers/kaeper definitely earned their big-game-bright-light-capable card that day.

easily is a strong word though, don't forget they tied and lost to the rams this year. Shit happens.

Yeah, the Pats D is nowhere near the level of the Broncos D, so I don't see Denver getting "destroyed" by SF.

Rams are good and are going to be my dark-horse pick for the NFC West next year. And that is coming from a 49ers fan who is afraid of the Seahawks more than any other team in the playoffs right now.

Unless the Texans wake up it's inevitable.

Going back to watch the DE vs NE game from earlier this year, there were a couple of pieces missing on the Denver offense. Peyton had to teach Decker and Thomas how to run routes, but now they're beasts.

The Denver D is going to be raped by the Pats in the AFC game. But I don't think anyone else in the playoffs is going to give them trouble other than the Vikings (like that would ever happen). Peyton Manning has never had two large, physical WR's before. Decker and Thomas are developing into Megatrons. Watch the fuck out. It's not even fair.

No, he is getting into the pizza business. And as someone in the pizza business I can tell you, terrible idea. Good thing he has made his fortune already.
