Yes, one man defending an entiresuperbowl teamfrom a board full of haters is the same as 50 fucking Dallas bandwagoners derailing the playoff thread every chance they get to talk about their team that can't even get a wild card in a terrible division. Same thing!
I'm here, buddy!ELITE. AS. FUCK.

Sounds like Crabtree didn't pull a Rapelisburger. Hopefully none of this will be a distraction for the Superbowl.

"According to a San Francisco law enforcement source, the woman who lodged the allegation was one of three women who joined Crabtree in a party at a room in the tony W Hotel on Third Street," Ross wrote. "The other two women have told investigators that Crabtree didn't assault anyone, said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing. Police haven't found any physical evidence of an attack, the source added."

We will see what happens. If the 49ers take any kind of early lead that is going to be bad for Baltimore. If Ravens fans are looking at their Thanksgiving win last year as inspiration, I would think again as Alex Smith was the 49ers QB in that game. The same Alex Smith who cant throw the ball further than 15 yards and is AWFUL on 3rd down. Keaperbro is the complete opposite. Also, Baltymore's run defense hasnt been that great this year, and now they get to face a team that actually puts a high emphasis on running the ball and physical play, unlike the Colts, Broncos, or even the Patriots.

Keapernick is going to leave with a Super Bowl trophy. Given all the bad stats the 49ers faced going into the championship game (1-5 in last 6 NFC championships, 0-5 in last 5 road playoff games, havent won a road playoff game since 1989 etc) they now find themselves with history on their side, having never lost a Super Bowl. Yeah the Ravens can say the same but the 49ers have done it 4 more times.

Patriots were 7th in rushing this season. a whopping three spots and 15 yards per game behind the 49ers. Grimm is right about a lot of the niners fans in this thread.

I would hardly say the Patriots "put a high emphasis on running the ball and physical play". They run the ball a fair amount, but they're as finesse of an offense as there is in the league.

Must have got all those rushing yards by asking the opposing defenses to start defending five yards back of the line of scrimmage then. I'm not saying the Patriots are "tougher" or even as "tough" as the niners but its disingenuous to imply a team that averaged 136.5 ypg rushing is soft along their front and therefore the niners are something the Ravens haven't seen yet.

Do you think Tom Brady and the Patriots offense faced anywhere close to the same amount of 8 or 9 man boxes that the Alex Smith/Colin Kaepernick led 49ers did? Don't be dense. That's a lot of the reason Alex Smith's stats looked good this year; teams tried to take away the running game, creating good passing opportunities. The Patriots running game wouldn't have been nearly as effective without Brady forcing the D into favorable schemes, just like Smith wouldn't have been nearly as effective if teams didn't need to respect Gore and the running game.

That's also a big reason why the 49ers offense has been so successful recently. The read option is forcing another defender up to the line and taking them out of pass defense, and really out of run defense other than outside lanes.

Also Patriots run stats were bolstered by a couple of monster games. 247 yards against Buffalo, 251 against Denver are a couple of examples. The run game was wide open and Belichick exploited that.

My favorite part about people talking about the Patriots is that it reminds me that they lost and won't be in the Super Bowl.

lol.

How can you say that the Patriots put a high emphasis on running the ball and playing physical? If you look at rushing stats and come to that conclusion then you are an idiot and must have not watched any of their games. Belichick wants to throw. Except this year he realized he had two pretty good backs in Vereen and Ridley and decided to take advantage of defenses playing a ton of nickel against them. So they ended up finishing 4th in rushing but by no means are they a run first, physical team. Brady wants to get the ball in space so his guys can get YAC. The Broncos were all about Manning throwing the ball. Same thing with Andrew Luck.

With the 49ers the Ravens are going to have to commit another defender to stop the run. Ray Lewis has 47 tackles this postseason for fucks sake. Its a nod to him as a player but also shows you how many short passes and passes in general that defense was defending. Vernon Davis is going to reveal Ray's age.

Too much Super Bowl talk, not enough Eli talk.

So, you think Eli will have to wait until 2015 for his next Super Bowl? He seems to enjoy the 4 year gaps.

Maybe 2017 or so.

Anyway, who else thinks Evil Flacco makes his long awaited appearance?
