That was a fucking retarded example. Giants beat the Niners because Kyle Williams is a terrible football player. That's the only reason. Otherwise they were getting handled pretty well.
I'll agree Eli was picking dirt out of his helmet quite a bit but the Giants pass rush was fucking Alex Smith's day up too. The Saints had a horrible fucking pass rush which made even Smith look good. That's part of the match up difference I was alluding to. FF to this year and the Giants mopped the floor with the 49ers.

The 49ers match up very well against the Saints receivers aside from maybe Jimmy Graham, though they are better against Graham than most other teams. Saints receivers are pretty slow or unreliable. Colston is reliable but slow. Meachem/Henderson are fast but they're slow (yes I know Meachem isn't here anymore). Lance Moore isn't super fast but he still didn't do much against the 49ers.

In comparison, the Giants had 3 big, strong, fast receivers in Cruz, Nicks and Manningham that could make plays a lot easier on the 49ers D since they were able to get separation.

I'm not saying Kyle Williams didn't fuck that game up in the NFCCG, because he obviously did. The matchup still favors the Giants both times they played the last 2 years.

AP is king IMO.. Fucking guy wants to be put in to block field goals and return kicks. He's raising the bar of a NFL players and should alway be respected!
i sincerely think AP earned MVP this year, and even as a Patriots fan i'm also a P. Manning fan. AP literally ran away with it in my opinion, though.

Yup, Giants matched up so well against SF that they took them down twice that season... oh wait.

Winning 2 out of 3 doesn't mean a team matches up well?

I suppose you sit on share holder meetings and tell the guy that owns 51% that he doesn't have a simple majority either...

2 out of 3 means approximately zilch statistically in this circumstance. Based on what I watched based on the last three games I would say the two teams match up evenly and the last game was a circumstance where the match-ups didn't mean anything because the Giants came in and simply outplayed the Niners. Any team can overcome match-up deficiencies to win a game.

Hi I'm opiate. I like to argue for the underdog miracle 1 out of 10 chance that a team plays above their level to win.

Any given Sunday is a known fact but what's MORE likely to happen? What ACTUALLY happened MORE when these 2 teams met?

So your conclusion must be that if the 2011 Niner and Giants met 10 times each team would win 5 games. Then if the 2012 Niner and Giants met 10 times the Giants would win all 10. You know, because of match-ups and what ACTUALLY happened when they played. Hard hitting analysis there, I have no rebuttal.

You motherfuckers are just close minded dumb.

Post a stat, any legitimate stat about my team and I'll take a look at it, try to understand its value, compare it with what I know, maybe research it, ponder it and see what I can determine from it.

Saints don't match up well against very athletic defenses, like the 49ers. We had a tough time against the 49ers and the Ravens just off the top of my head the last few years.

Giants match up very well against the 49ers for many, many reasons. If you want to be small minded about it go for it. I don't care to argue with simpletons. Yall feel free to suck each other off though since that's obviously what you're doing.

If you think a three game sample size is enough statistical evidence to discern any sort of meaningful information from then there is little point in posting any further stats for you to take a look at to get your thoughts on trying understand its value.

Minn over Green Bay (GB has lost 4 of their last 6 home playoff games). Indy over Baltimore (Luck, Luck, Luck). Washington over Seattle (Seahawks have lost 7 of 8 playoff road games), and Houston over Cinci.

Book that shit.

Dungee has been pretty insistent in interviews that he doesn't see Manning going into coaching. I see him more as a TV guy and of course many more commercials.

Less stress, and he'll probably end up making more money overall that way. Makes sense.

Yeah I really don't see Manning going into coaching for exactly those reasons. Mucho stress and not much payoff for most of the teams actually in need of a coach.

Dungee describes it as Manning being too passionate and emotionally invested and controlling. As a coach he'd have to be able to roll with it better and that's not described as his style.

Are there really many HoF QB's out there that are OC's or HC's now? There might well be some I'm unaware of I'll admit.
