If you told me one player would fumble twice I'd say "Flacco, and we lose". Who knew it would be Rice and a win. Weird!

Easily the best sporting event I've ever been to, I'm sure you all hated it.

I'm pretty impressed when ANYONE can tackle Marshawn Lynch. Elurin or most of us here would probably struggle to tackle a kicker.

That reminds me, years ago when I lived out near the Cardinals practice facility there was a bar/restaurant near there and me and a couple buddy's got drunk with a couple of offensive linemen from the Cards. I don't even remember their names but I'm pretty sure they were backups. I lived like 2 blocks from the bar and some chicks they wanted to bang were coming to our place to drink some more after last call. So we're at my house having some beers with these dudes and a few friends and I'm drunk as hell and I thought it would be fun to see if I could rush past one of these dudes. So we go in the back yard and he gets in his stance and tells me to come at him with everything I've got. Well at the time I'm all of 6' and like 220lbs, not a small guy, but not NFL defensive line size either. So I go at this dude trying to get past him and he literately drives me back up off my feet and tosses me back like 5 feet onto my back. I get up, I'm all covered in grass and I'm seeing double. After that and he tells me he was only going at half speed because he didn't want to hurt me lol. It gave me a new respect for the strength and talent level these guys have.

I just remember the guys name, it was Chris Dishman he played on the Cardinals for 7 years.

I go down to the rail of the lower level to watch warmups up close pre game, on the opposing side so I see a different team every time. Some of these dudes you really don't get a sense of how fucking massive they are from seeing them on TV. Freaks of nature.

Pretty insane what they are putting their bodies through snap after snap for 10+ years too. And this fucknugget commissioner wants them to play two more regular season games.

As far as the size of NFL players go, I never got it. I mean, sure, they're big dudes, but I see guys just as big in the gym all the time. Granted, the guys in the gym probably aren't as athletic as a 320 lb lineman, but size-wise, they're just normal big guys.

Long time ago, I worked at the Burger King near the Seahawks old practice facility at Northwest College.. and their guys used to come through our drive through on the way to practice. I always felt like they could palm my head and lift me up just by holding on to my head, and I am 6'2" and over 300.

OMG that RG3 leg injury looked horrific.

Thats damage on top of damage. His knee is fucked and he probably wont ever be the same. Watch him in the first 4-6 games of the season and look how fast he is and the burst he has (esp the lateral movement) then watch him after the injury....its night and day.

I dont think you can blame Shanahan for trying to stick with his star guy and stay with what got them there. If he coddled Griffin he mine as well have benched him for Cousins. He should have fed Morris more and kept Rg3 out of designed running situations but I think he had to go to the well with RG3 in a playoff game.

This is terrible though. You gotta be SICK as a Redskins fan. He could come back even better (look at Adrian Peterson) but chances are he will never be the same. The NFL is a cruel game. All the talking heads going on about Robert not being able to sustain that type of play was annoying but damn I guess this game just gets you at some point.

Even leaving RG3 in, up 14 points, Kyle Shanahan should have had Morris pounding the ball all game long. Coaches shit the bed pretty bad.

Edit: Also, as far as these guys being huge, I looked up some of their lifting numbers. Lynch is pretty fucking ridiculous (355 bench, 485 squat), but a guy like Justin Forsett, who happened to be on the same page I found Lynch's numbers on was 335 bench, 405 squat. That's not really all that impressive for a guy at 198 lbs. My 1RM for squat was 295, at 160 lbs, after only lifting for a year and a half.

Still though, that's a skill position, and I know the backers and linemen are all fucking ridiculous. I know Philip Daniels (former Redskins player, now on the staff) had a 700+ lb squat.

He did that against Dallas last week. I dont understand why they didnt do the same tonight. THe problem is Seattle has an explosive offense and a defense that can change field position on you quickly so I dont think they could have just played keep away with the run game for 2+ quarters.

The footage of that RG3 injury is frightening.

One of my best friends growing up was drafted by the Cowboys a few years back as a TE. Never made a team or anything, training camp injuries a few times. He was a 6' something when he went to college, but fairly skinny. High ranked in high school and all still. But when he came back after his senior year at VT he was 6-5, 255 of solid muscle. Ridiculous the workout routines they do.

Also, Elurin only thinks NFL players aren't that strong because he forgot aboutLarry Allen=P
