Its as fair a scapegoat as anything else, but more so I was using it to highlight the often overlooked importance of having a good kicker.
He sounds so uninterested. I don't think it's that he's bad. It honestly sounds like he just doesn't want to be doing it. I can also hear wind blowing on the fucking mic

Seriously. I never thought I'd long for the likes of Michaels/Collinsworth or Buck/Aikmen, but Berman and Dilfer is probably the worst play by play color commentary team I've ever witnessed. They make Random Manly Sounding Female/Former NFL Player that played for 2 seasons combos that work the low tier college games on ESPN 2 look like prime time material.
They used to have Mike and Mike from the radio call the second MNF opener...pretty sure they were at least slightly better.
