Colin Kaepernick annoys the shit out of me for some reason. I generally never dislike athletes, besides maybe T.O. for example. Maybe its the commercial they keep playing of him kissing his bicep while playing madden.. "kaepernicking''

there is nothing interesting about colin kaepernick unless he keeps winning.

If anyone wants 100% off NFL Game Rewind and Gamepass

http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=111954

In most of Europe, Gamepass costs several hundred euros. In the USA and Mexico, it's completely blocked. This makes it either expensive or impossible to get, unless you're from the Netherlands where it's absolutely free due to a promotion.

Here's how to make the NFL think you're from the Netherlands, giving you free access.

Short version for experts:
Obtain a VPN/Proxy from the Netherlands.
Enjoyhttp://gamepass.nfl.com. You can disconnect your VPN/Proxy any time after beginning the stream.

Long version for newbies:
Go to kepard.com and register an account. You don't need to download the software, and you don't need to pay. (I used an affiliate link in case someone can't read, but there's no need for you to pay)
Click settings (http://www.kepard.com/personal-vpn-settings/) and under "PPTP" click on your OS.
Follow the instructions, making sure to use this ip 95.211.186.223 for step 5 & 6. The NFL has blocked some of the others.
Connect to the VPN, and ensure that your IP address is from the netherlands by going here:http://whatismyipaddress.com/
Open a private browser to clear any cookies (firefox: ctrl + shift + p chrome: ctrl + shift + n) and start a stream athttp://gamepass.nfl.com
After the stream begins, disconnect from the PPTP connection you just created. If you don't do this, Kepard will boot you off after you've used your daily 30 free minutes. The NFL only checks your IP to begin the stream, so you'll continue to stream the rest of the game with no problems.

With the Cruz play I was scratching my head too, especially since they had previously talked about the Johnson no-catch during a highlight break or something like that. Even in the replays it was clear he only had one foot down before crossing the goal line, and dropped the ball when he hit the ground. Even if he established two feet down, he still caught the ball on the way to the ground and it popped out of his hand, which still holds to the verbal definition of needing to maintain control all the way through.

Not mad or anything, just puzzled at the inconsistency.

Daddy's money. He's gone his whole life with everyone kissing his ass and never being told to STFU.

Normally a billionaire owner referencing spaceships and force shields to talk trash would be awesome.

Unless it is a different Madden commercial, that is actually Russell Wilson doing the Kaepernicking.

I don't understand all the Kaepernicking hate. I don't see how it is any worse than Cam Newton and his 'Supermanning' or Aaron Rodgers and his championship belt. Unless of course you hate those too and don't think there should be touchdown celebrations at all.

I pretty much hate all those guys and every NFL player's endorsement commercials and all media coverage of the NFL. I turn the game on as close to kick off as possible now and leave the room often. Hell, I alreadycan't fucking standthat shit terrible NFL girl gear commercial with Harbaugh's motivational speech. Makes me want to smash the TV already one week in, and I'm supposed to like that one because Harbaugh.

Normal refs seem to match up well with the replacements refs stat wise VS week 1 last year. We have 49'ers/Packers fuck up(twice it seems), Giants TD(oops), and Texans getting a first down.

The explanation I heard for Cruz's TD was - two feet down, and then he made a "football" move by twisting his body and reaching for the goal line.

I'm not saying I agree with this, but...

More than one person said that the long term effect of the replacement refs... was to remind us how often the real guys screw up.

It's the inconsistency across the board that kills me more than anything. The replacements proved to us that not everyone can do the job, but if you're going to do it at least try to make sure it's consistent from game to game. The NFL isn't doing enough to make sure everyone is on the same page, and nothing is ever done for the colossal fuckups to try to hammer down that point.

Was it a Giants fan who gave you the explanation? It is obvious that neither you nor the person whom you heard the explanation from saw a replay of the play.

Btw, Cruz twisting his body and reaching for the goal line isn't even a football move. That is basically what CJ did when his catch was ruled an incompletion in 2010.

Haha oops.

The NFL said on Tuesday that referees working the Monday night game between the Texans and Chargers incorrectly called a unnecessary roughness penalty on San Diego's Cam Thomas.

Thomas had made contact with Texans long-snapper Jon Weeks during a field attempt in the second half. The kick was good, but the penalty gave Houston a first down at the San Diego 9-yard line. The Texans would punch it in for a touchdown to cut the Chargers lead to 28-21.

In case you forgot, the Texans completed the comeback and won 31-28.
