Watching Dannell Ellerbe trying to cover Jimmy Graham is more frustrating than watching the 40 year old mentally handicapped woman at the grocery store try and bag my groceries.

Only problem is with defensive holding especially if your playing man coverage that hold could easily save a td if the receiver starts to go by you, and your out of position.
True. They could alter the rule to have it automatic first down depending on the penalty.

For you Daezuel. Pretty much what I have been saying. Austin is special but he's not going to constantly beat 2-3 guys because the Rams suck dick blocking. The lack of any kind of running game is leaving defenses able to just put guys out in space since their front 7 are dominating in the box anyways. Rams need to draft Jake Matthews from A&M if hes there this year. Pittsburgh will hopefully suck badly enough to get him first though :p

I was just as skeptical about the saint's defense as anyone, but you have to admit they have been playing good defense these first four games. And its nothing fancy, just solid tackling and swarming to the ball. First fumble recovered, several defenders around to recover. First interception, several defenders around Greer giving him a nice return. The 2nd or 3rd int, whichever it was, I was just saying the play before how much the saints are swarming to the ball and then the next play there is someone there to intercept the ball after it was tipped up.

Miami was able to move the ball at times, the Saint's opening drive was a thing of beauty and Miami answered right back. That was a terrible play call on 3rd and an inch, but despite Miami moving the ball the saints just played solid defense and got the job done in the end.

New Orleans looks like a real juggernaut right now. However, they have only played 1 game away against Tampa Bay where they won 16-14. Definitely an NFC favorite but they need to get every win they can because I think they'll suffer more in a road playoff game than any of the other contenders.

Miami still looks very young but still promising. Matchup wise it's hard to say they can beat NE for the division, but it's possible. Chances are very good for a wildcard assuming Tannehill can survive being sacked so many times.

By the way, RIP L.C. Greenwood. What a fantastic player on a dynamic defense. His picture was the one I was looking for when I found this Lambert avatar.

The 1970's Steeler teams were so fun to watch play. Here's hoping that L.C. is sacking J.C. in heaven somewhere.

God, how I hate the Saints. They're still riding the Hurricane Katrina Sympathy Train. Their holier than thou attitude sickens me

No they're not, just the media is. Believe me, New Orleanians can't stand it either every time an announcer just has to bring up Katrina and how the saints revitalized the city. Similar to last year and every freakin' game they had to mention bounty and bring up the bounty scandal even though everyone had already known about it before game 1, they still had to bring it up every game the entire season. And they are doing it this season with sean payton. It has been 4 weeks, and every game they have to bring up sean payton was suspended all last season. Hey, its Sean Payton's first game back, hey its Sean Payton's first road game back, hey its Sean Payton's first prime time game since being suspended, hey its Sean Payton's first time back to Chicago since being suspended.

Every week, any given game, there is a lot of filler time for announcer's so they just keep repeating the same shit over and over and over.

Yeah, WTF is mures doing? Ruining my image of Saints fans. Coherent sentences and not absolute nob-slobbing over the team and city. This is bullshit.

I'm waiting to hear Mike Wallace Ginns Jr.'s reaction to dropping so many passes last night, I mean he's so vocal when not targeted. I wonder what he has to say when targeted and then drops them.
