Good thing Goodell's plan didn't backfire and allow the Ravens to come up with an even BETTER game-plan that would have helped them stomp the Niners. It is not like both teams didn't have a chance to "regroup" and improve their game-plan during the blackout.

I'm not saying that blackout was on purpose, because I can't imagine the NFL was happy with the potential ratings implications of a half hour break in the game. But it DID fuck our momentum over in that game completely, there's no doubt about it. Losing after that, yeah I would have been major fucking rustled.

Yeah sure why not.

Best case scenario this is a defense matchup, because if the Dolphins offense starts clicking we are probably fucked. Can't run the ball worth a shit this year, our current o-line is completely wrong personnel for this zone run blocking scheme that's still installed. And of course when our run game shuts down and Flacco throws 50 times we lose. Nothing new there.

Dumb question:

Do any of the dome teams, or warm weather teams, ever simulate practice conditions of Green Bay in December? I don't necessarily mean the week before a game, I mean in training camp and early season.

The reason I ask (Seriously, let's get this thread back to the Chiefs already) is I was wondering how A. Smith will do in KC home games. Gets cold as fuck in Arrowhead with the wind swirling.

And how to you know the Ravens' "momentum" had anything to do with the blackout and not halftime adjustments? The Jacoby Jones kickoff return was the first play of the 2n'd half and then the blackout occurred on the ensuing 49ers drive. So why was it the blackout specifically that caused the 49ers to play better/Ravens to play worse and not adjustments?
