If you count the made-up part where you added that I think it's a confidence issue, then yeah, you're right.

Back in the real world, Schaub doesn't need a confidence builder, he needs a bench.
I know you didn't say it was a confidence issue. The guy you were responding to did, which was my whole point.

Either way, they're just delaying the inevitable. Even if he does good against the Rams he'll still shit the place up when he goes against an NFL caliber D

And Famm, your post makes me think the Texans should've went out and pursued Manning 2 years ago. When you really think about it, that team has severely underperformed with how much talent they have. I think a lot of that blame falls on the QB.
Yeah, put Mr. Playoff chokester himself in!

Who knows though. Chance to rub it in Indy's face for the rest of his career. Home dome, division dome and warm weather game (though Jax can get some bad rain events). Great D and run game, elite WR, soft division prior to this year with Lucksplosion and Teximplosion. Would be interesting to hear Manning's thought process on picking Denver, maybe we will someday. Probably a no brainer, elite D and run game. Very soft division (at the time, mostly still pending Chiefs proving they are for real). He probably just needed to meet with the coaching staff and front office to be assured they would bring in talent for him and run a good system. Biggest drawback is really playing home playoff matches in mile high cold and wind, but I doubt Manning puts anything in that statistical criticism of his play. Remains to be seen as well, especially if they get a top seed again. I have to think if Houston was home field he gets all the same benefits with none of the drawbacks of Denver.

Fucking dumb ass. So how long before the NFL pulls all his merchandise and pretends he never played in the league?
It's not a felony to possess the weapons in California, but it's a felony because he didn't modify the magazines to comply with the law. Yeah it's a big deal, but it's not like he killed someone, and the DUI issue is being dealt with. He'll be suspended, lose a lot of guaranteed money in his next contract, probably plead the gun charges to a misdemeanor, and that's about it.

He's really starting to sound like the kind of guy where that will not be it. It will never end until he's a fail story washed out of the league.

Could be. He's fucked up enough in the last 2 years that this is probably his last chance. If he doesn't get his shit together after this then he's probably just about done in the league. I'm just glad that his character flaws are becoming so apparent now rather than after the season. Imagine if he started to get into all this bullshit after he signed a $50 million guaranteed contract this offseason.

He should come to Houston. He wouldn't get cut/benched until he rapes McNair's wife and takes a shit on the Alamo.

This is fucking perfect:

Matt Schaub Gets An Unwelcome Visitor | Kissing Suzy Kolber

g73NnGk.jpg

Schaub: Ah, nothing like a glass of warm milk before bed!

Mrs. Schaub: Honey, I think I heard a noise downstairs, could you check it out?

Schaub: Again? Ugh. Fine.

*white picket fence gate flies open*

Fan: You?ve got some nerve, you piece of sh*t.

Schaub: Excuse me?

Fan: YOU HEARD ME. YOU?VE GOT SOME NERVE. What you did on Sunday was an EMBARRASSMENT to good Texas football.

Schaub: What the hell are you doing on my property?

Fan: DON?T TALK BACK. In Texas we love three things: Beef, blondes, booze, and good quarterbackin?. FOUR things. And I?ll tell you what, you ain?t none of those things. By God, we had such high hopes for this team this year, and now what do we have to show for it but a 2-3 record and a quarterback who can?t stop throwing picks at the wrong time? After all these years, you only have ONE win in the playoffs. ONE.

Schaub: Look I?m sorry about my performance but that?s no excuse to come onto my property and scare my family. You need to leave before I call the police.

Fan: YOU CAN?T TELL ME WHAT TO DO. I only take orders from GOOD quarterbacks. The way you turned that ball over on that back-breaking interception on Sunday, I can?t believe you?re even in the league. Now sure, you did throw for five touchdowns, but ?

Schaub: Wait ? five touchdowns? I didn?t throw five touchdowns.

Fan: ?

Schaub: What are you talking about?

Fan: Is this Tony Romo?s house?

Schaub: No.

Fan: Oh. Sorry, mister.

*leaves*

Give the guy a break. Imagine if he ever had any talented recie...

Er, hey its not like he's been given the benefit of a great run ga......

Ok, well the offense can't do all the work. Maybe if Schaub had the luxury of an elite defen............

Damn, Schaub fucking sucks.
I hope this isn't what we'll be saying about the Bengals at the end of the year. It's up to Dalton to fuck it all up.

Last I saw 90%+ of the native American population was either positive or indifferent about the name. Honestly who wouldn't take pride in a sports franchise naming themselves after your heritage?

Well, I hope the 49ers defense continues the trend of playing great football since Aldon Smith was removed from the picture, since it appears he isn't going to be around for the long haul. They were one of the worst 3 defenses in the NFL over the span over the last 5 games of last season (including playoffs) and the first 3 games of this season. Now, I hope that trend DOESN'T continue that they play well since Patrick Willis has been out, because he is by far my favorite player of the last 6 years and I want to see him continue on to a hall of fame career.

I think all the cries are coming from non-native Americans. I'm not sure what the motivation behind it is, but it's pretty apparent this is one of those hipster fake outrages that people love so much these days. Let's just be upset about everything because fuck it, why not?

I have friends in Oregon who are Native American and they definitely do not take kind to it when its brought up in conversation. They are 60+ years old so I'm not sure if its the same with the younger generations.

Saw this posted elsewhere and chuckled

The Washington Redskins are going to change their name due to negative associations with that name.

From now on they will be known as the Maryland Redskins.

Maybe this means Roddy White will stop being a worthless piece of shit. Then again with my luck he'll end up missing a ton of games, too.
