This cheers me up, after seeing how shitty our Busted Ginger QB did this weekend against the Lions during "highlights" of the game.

Defense kinda sucked some second half too, it seems.

Oh well, another rebuilding year for the Browns. Glad I was at work.

Or are dialing it back to save some for down the stretch. That can backfire too, of course.

And/or it's just hard to blow people out week after week in the NFL. I mean, they look mortal if you were banking on them going 16-0...otherwise, hey, it's a long season. Manning and his assistant coaches in Denver surely have the goal of home field...record mostly irrelevant.

Yeah, plus why give teams more tape on their offense this early in the run if you are steamrolling people? Now that they pretty much have their system down, they can save some juice for the games that actually matter, i.e. not the Jaguars. Plus this isn't College where you get bonus ranking points for piling on a third rate school. The real test for Denver will be Indy and the two KC games, anyhow.

If Carroll coached the Broncos he would run the score up every time.

They looked fairly mortal when the Cowboys scored 48 points on them. They have a great offense but their defense nerds some help.

Honestly I think the Bronco's looked lack-luster because everyone but Peyton wasn't playing it like a real game. Tons of good throws turned into drops and misses.

Yeah, it was a blast. Did not picture it taking an hour and a half to drive about 4 miles on the 101 however. Oh well.

Definite low light of the day was the 49ers fan starting the wave in the 4th quarter with an injured Cardinals player getting strapped to a stretcher though. That shit wasn't cool. Haven't seen an update on his injury, but hopefully he is okay.

Oh, and Candlestick really is a pretty shitty stadium. That place is worn down as all hell, and getting in and out of there is AWFUL. New stadium should be awesome.
I went to a Thursday night Bears/49ers game at Candlestick, we took a bus from union square to the stadium leaving an hour before the game. By the time the 1st quarter was halfway through the bus driver had given up and just let us out at the off-ramp for everybody to walk through South San Fran to the stadium. It was such a lovely jaunt with the locals trying to sell you drugs and booze while eye raping your wife....

We then sat down at the start of the 2nd quarter, we were on the 50 but on the side with the bleachers. The rest of the game was spent with guys all around us just pissing down the bleachers, I didn't give a shit but the wife was pretty pissed with all the dicks hanging out. I love San Fran but fuck if I'll ever go back to Candlestick, thankfully I won't have to after this year.

You took a bus, an hour before the game, in rush hour traffic. wtf. an hour before the game is when you should start heading to your seats.

Normally I would agree with you, but they don't open the glass doors to AT&T Stadium until an hour before the game and probably differs stadium to stadium.

That's true, but I've also read numerous reports about how fucked the traffic situation is with Candlestick, like among the worst in the league. Also the place sounds like a shitpile of a fanbase, like might as well be in Oakland except everyone's wearing red.

I think M&T opens at 11 AM for 1 PM kickoffs. Still, no chance in hell I want to be on public transportation for any stadium only an hour before kickoff.

The traffic is terrible. I live an hour/hour and a half away from the stadium and after the January playoff game we didn't get home until something like 1:30 AM because it took us about 3 hours just to get out of the parking lot and to the highway a mile away. I've never run into the real shitty fans and gangbangers in the actual stadium, but there are definitely some sketchy people tailgating. The stadium is basically right in the ghetto. Needless to say, moving to Santa Clara is gonna be a massive upgrade in every way.

Yeah my bad, I wasn't clear in that, I wouldn't dare dream to take public transportation an hour before the game. I meant you can't always head to your seat an hour before the game because you only get an hour to get to your seat once the doors open at some places.

Sure sounds like it. I still sort of hate seeing such an iconic place go, and there's something nice about teams actually playing in the city limits of their namesakes to me.
