It's easy to be mad, but then you realize by the the time of the Lion's 2 scoring drives at the end of the game both Church and Claiborne were out and 2 scrubs named Heath (nice force fumble on Bush, though) and Jakar Hamilton were in the secondary - not to mention they had zero pass rush except for 1 Hatcher sack (who was double teamed all day). Jakar Hamilton was COMPLETELY out of position on that 40 yard reception to the white Lion's WR (don't know his name, probably an injury fill in for Burleson) and that was the biggest play of the game, outside of maybe the Tyron Smith hold on 3rd down that negated 40 seconds off the clock and wouldn't have even gotten to that point.
Shitty game by anyone not named Hatcher or Lee - I didn't think it was possible for the defense to have more injuries than last year but they were starting 9 non-starters in the second half - half of those guys weren't even in training camp and have been picked up off the street in the last few weeks.
This team can't win against a decent or better team unless Romo has enough pass protection to score 35-40 a game - without the turnovers they would of been dominated - Romo didn't get sacked but he was getting killed and was barely getting passes off.

Huh, turn on NFL Network this morning and everyone on there is defending Dez Bryant's rants as him being passionate and bringing a spark to his team. Might be the first time ever I've seen the media not jump all over a WR thats exploded on the sideline and try to turn them into a villain. Usually its okay for QBs or defensive players and the media loves their passion, but never with WRs.

That's because he was pretty much just verbalizing what every cowboy fan was thinking at that point in time. Shitty coaching and non existent defense paved the way for another epic Cowboy collapse. The way that team plays, I am not surprised that they are happy at least someone gives a shit. Plus, I think we can safely say Rob Ryan was not the problem with the Dallas D......
Because Dez is very upfront about being passionate and wanting to win, that's all he thinks about - it's not about stats. He was mad because Romo wouldn't throw to him when he was double covered like Stafford was to Megatron - he was mad because those 2 drives ended in Field goals and he thought he could of made the play and he saw the game slipping away. Difference is the Cowboys have had other viable options to go to when Dez is double covered (Witten, Terrence Williams, Beasley) and Romo isn't going to force it to Dez if he has another guy single covered. Those other guys didn't make the plays though, either because the coverage was good or Romo had to rush his throw because he was pressured on 40% of his drop backs. Stafford pretty much has to go to Megatron every time, plus no one can stop him because he's so tall and strong so it doesn't matter.

BTW, I was pissed for years at the Falcons for taking out the Niners and then beating the Vikings in the NFC championship in '99 and stopping the Randall Cunningham/Randy Moss show. My only consolation for the Niners getting knocked out was that we were going to see a good game in the SB with Denver vs. Minnesota and then the fucking faggot Falcons beat the Vikes before reverting to their usual shittiness and stinking up the superbowl. If the Vikings were ever going to win a superbowl that was the year.

There's sportscasters today that aren't giving him a pass as well. The narrative on Mike and Mike this morning kept leaning to Dez being a selfish fuckstick while Megatron is always classy and composed. Of course its ESPN though so they love to stir shit up for no reason.
