I enjoyed the game. I thought those Goaty-fellows played admirably all things considered. Their defense and run game was rather good and clearly would have won with a better QB.

I almost wonder, due to Schottenheimer's relationship to this back up he felt more confident that he should have been all things considered?

My favorite slip up is still that douchebag Jaws saying "SHIT you gotta make that catch!" and the booth going silent for a good 10 seconds.

No, this one happened awhile ago. It's been what? 2 years? Since Jaws was in the booth with Chucky. Still one of the funniest things I've witnessed on MNF.

No, the NFL deadline is hard as hell, no trades are possible now until after the Super Bowl*.

A team could release someone, eat the entirety of the current contract, and some other team could then sign them, but the original team wouldn't get anything for it.

*Again, this is the first year where each teamhasto spend 90% of the cap. I expect a number of trades near the end of the season by teams with money to spend, with as much money as possible dumped into this year's salary cap number.
