I think God is punishing the Bears for their incompetence. "You injured the Packers out of the playoff race, and you're still going to lose the division to the Lions? No more football for you, you don't deserve it."

I could do without the flooding in my basement that punishment is currently inflicting, however.

My god the Falcons are so so terrible this year. I want the Bucs to tank the season to get the best draft position possible, but being able to blow out Atlanta might be worth it.

Yeah, the turnaround in Atlanta is startling. They went from a pretty good team on the verge of going to the Super Bowl, to being downright awful.

It's the usual stars vs. scrubs salary cap issue.

They have, what, 8 guys taking up half their cap? If more than 2 of them get injured, you're done.

Honestly, the last couple years suggest that depth is the biggest issue in the modern era, given how often people get hurt. (See San Fran with WRs, Packers with QBs, etc. this year.)

Hello - first time posting.

Being a Bears fan, I have been watching all the local news concerning this storm. The NFL Network mentioned that at least five tornadoes have touched down in the far reaching surrounding areas. And then the news will pan back to Soldier Field and those fans standing in the fourth levels getting smacked with rains and winds attempting to get into cover. Apparently the lower concourse levels are packed and those still in the elements are "stuck" walking down steep declines.

I would guess that Soldier Field might get a subtle renovation in the off season (and the way the Bears are playing), probably sooner than later.
