That's because "fans" like yourself and Erronius just found your way to the NFL thread, after dusting off your Steve Bono jerseys that you had tucked away in the closest. You know, the second go-round that your team had at picking up our QB leftovers. It isn't my fault that you guys traded away a bunch of draft picks for another one of our mediocre, backup QBs. Don't be so salty, bro. You'll be back to a bottom-dweller in no time.

I get the joke just fine. I wasn't referring to the people like yourself and Dazuel. I'm referring to the people who areactualChief "fans".
You think Reg just found the NFL thread? What are you fucking retarded?

hope hes paralyzed and the guy he landed on sues the bills
The guy that fell only injured his shoulder and is fine. The person he fell on has a nondisclosed head injury. I hope the dipshit goes to jail for reckless endangerment, or something.

LMFAO. PLEASE DIE NFL. OMFG. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
What a bullshit call
ROFL. You might as well just give QBs flags nowadays. There's nowhere to tackle them anymore. Can't hit high, can't hit low.
"What does Clothesline Tackle Mean?

A football move in which a player on defense strikes an offensive player on theneck or chestby extending an arm away from his body and parallel to the playing field. This type of tackle is considered unnecessary roughness and a personal foul, and generally results in a penalty and sometimes a fine or other action by the league. Clothesline tackles can be made from in front or behind."

Fox Sports officiating analyst Mike Pereira said via Twitter, "Clearly a foul in New Orleans -- that was a blow to the neck."

Well, I still don't like the call but I suppose I understand why it was called. The initial contact wasn't with the neck, it was the follow through that seemed to get him around the neck. When he first hits him it is clearly around the shoulder area, but his head stays in place while his body goes the other way. So as Brooks kept going, his arm ends up around his neck a bit. The unfortunate part is where he hit him really didn't affect the play, he was going to lose that ball even if Brooks hit him 2 inches lower. I just think it makes it really shitty for defenders. Can't touch the QB's head in any way, can't tackle them low, and if you get near their neck it is also a penalty. Leaves a very small area where you can actually hit them. Especially when the QB is the size of Brees! When watching it in real time it just didn't look that bad.

It doesn't really matter cause the game is over and they lost. No elite team needs to worry about the 49ers because their offense is awful anyways, and their defense can only do so much to keep them in it. Had the 49ers mounted any type of offense they could have put that game away, but they didn't so the loss goes far beyond one call.

Watch the bicep and not the forearm, it clearly makes contact with the neck before or at the very least at the same time as his forearm.

Also, "I mean I'm going full speed and he is going full speed, and at the last second he ducked his shoulder, you know what I mean?" Brooks said. "I mean I don't think I could have done anything differently. I meanI could have tackled him lowerbut I'm running around quick and coming around the corner andI'm there trying to knock the ball out of his handsbecause I'm thinking he's going to throw the ball, but then he ducks his shoulder."

As I thought, Brooks even admits he could have tackled him lower, but chose to go high to try and force the fumble/sack. So if that doesn't deserve to be a penalty than what does? Does anyone see Brees duck in that picture? So add headhunting to the list and I hope he is fined. Consider my jimmies rustled, I'm sick of seeing this controversial call bs, it was only called because it was Brees', bs. If you've watched saints football in the brees/payton era you would know brees rarely gets those calls. He did get a "controversial" call in the jets game two weeks ago; there is nothing controversial about this call.
