I say the 07 Patriots did it so they could get all those records they got, which I have no problem with. You don't set NFL records by being a nice guy and winning all your games by 1 point.

There's been many chances for many different teams/players to break records but chose not to. There's no rule that says you can't, but if you do then people are going to hate you.

And pretending it's a concept that doesn't exist is just stupid
