i'd say allow the noise level to not exceed Seattle's precedent for future stadiums.

it's a rule that suddenly matters when the physical design of the stadium mirrors an ampitheatre.
Arrowhead is as loud as the Seahawk's whateverthefuckitscalled. And the stadium is 31 years old.

The stadium fills up fairly nice when they're playing the Patriots. Can't really expect a full stadium when it's two horrible teams tho.

The NFL might as well get rid of this rule...

NFL Rules Digest: Timing
This use to be called back in the day. Not sure why it suddenly stopped being called. I won't be surprised to see teams start to latch on to the Chip Kelly method of play calling. If kids at McDonalds can do it, I'm sure NFL players can as well. Well maybe not, but I love the idea.

So he can't be all butt hurt about Kaep but you get to be butt hurt about Seattle's homefield advantage? We had to endure this shit from the Ninerds back when you lost up there last time. Now with the win last night and the division rematch coming its going to be crybaby time again? I think I mentioned last time, what about domes? Should they be outlawed? I promise if you plopped a team that complete down in STL or ARI you would have just as many problems with crowd noise, its just that those teams suck ass more frequently these days than Seattle. I remember all those times in Indy during the Manning reign with opposing QB's holding their hands over their helmet's side holes desperately trying to hear their helmet radios.

Forget that rule, I can't see it being enforced unless the entire crowd is blowing vuvuzelas into bullhorns or something obnoxious. Teams aren't going to get penalized for fans voices. This is a league that is struggling to get MORE people to come to live games. Telling fans they can't be crazy drunks with a chance to impact a false start or delay of game on the opponent isn't going to help. Pretty much every team I see now has messages on the video boards to get loud now too, at the very least on third down. Its an institution to call for crowd noise now, I can't see Goodell tinkering with the brand in a way that will turn off fans like that.

Is it full of Dolphins fans or Patriots fans? I remember in the late 90's when I was living in Phoenix it was so pathetic because when the Cowboys came to town to play the Cardinals there would be more Cowboys jerseys in the stands than Cardinals. That was when they were still playing at ASU's stadium as well.

As much as owners claim it's all about winning, it's really all about the money. I'd expect future stadiums to more closely follow the AT&T Stadium design. More luxury suites > competitive edge

Makes sense, there's as many people in south Florida from the rest of the east coast as there are natives right? There were a surprisingly large number of Ravens fans in Miami this year by the looks of it. I think there may be some crossover appeal with Da U fans too though because of Reed/Lewis.

On the one hand, it takes away crowd involvement in the game, which I think it bad, not to mention its another judgment call in the hands of idiot/biased refs. On the other hand, you have dipshits like the Vikings piping amplified crowd noise through speakers into the opposing bench and teams like Seattle building giant amplifier scoops. I am all for home field advantage, but not when it extends to officiating and shit like this.

I think what I hate about Seattle most is that because of their PES they think they have some special breed of super-fan up there now.
