Shitty thing for my Eagles is that this game was largely irrelevant for the Cowboys due to being perfect within the division. Whether they're tie or a game behind it still comes down to the final game against Philly. Hopefully Aaron Rodgers will come back next week to whoop Dallas to make it moot. But I suspect both teams will win out through week 17 when they face each other for the Division championship.

Didn't they say it was going to cost like 60million to franchise Cutler? He has been mediocre at best. I cannot see spending the money personally but meh.

Thing about QB's, there aren't a lot available. Everyone wants one of the top 5, but if you have 6th-15th best there isn't shit you can do but pay them.

Now I am not a Bears fan and have not watched anything close to all their games, but that being said I dont recall Cutler having games this good any time recently that I have seen. Its not like McCown is a big downgrade from Cutler. Cutler isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

only if the average annual salary for top 5 qbs is 60 million a year and i dont think it is

franchising cutler will cost around 17-18m

frankly, i would just give mccown a 3 year contract at 2 mil a year (he'll be happy as shit to take it) and then fish in the draft for a decent qb for the next 1-3 years

I agree with you, Chanur. I hate Cutler's bipolar ass though, so I'm not really fair to him. I'd rather just cut him and draft someone.

Dallas is losing out - book it. Philly will stroll to the finish line.
Nah eventually it will be like last year where the next loss is playoff elimination and Romo has to go no huddle the entire game and ignore the coaches (like the Denver game) - he's much more prone to mistakes that way but it seems it's the only way for the Cowboys to win is to just assume their defense doesn't exist. It will also probably end in a season ending INT in Week 17.

i hope cowboys season ends with a romo fumble that gets returned for a touchdown, or a botched snap on a field goal.

You're not paying Cutler what he's worth, you're paying Cutler cause any QB available is a huge downgrade. Unless as a franchise you are saying fuck it lets rebuild.

Yep Timing is everything. Fucking Flacco was due immediately after winning a Super Bowl so they paid him. I have no problem with the rest of that list.
