Re patriots. My hope for a good season is paying off. PROVIDED injuries don't hurt them, the patriots have imo a good shot at making the playoffs, and a decent shot at the division with the bills losing yesterday. Bills and PATS play twice in the next 6 weeks, so fingers crossed PATS win Both.

Super bowl is on the table, barely, but it there with how the afc is playing atm, but that is mostly a pipe dream, win a playoff game or 2 is doable- if they make the playoffs that is.

Honestly this season has been way better than expected. I thought we'd be 8-9 at best and we may actually beat that. Yeah these two losses were disappointing but we had two WTF wins with Steelers and Ravens and kept the Packers extremely close. The team is almost there but still needs some OL help, a stronger secondary, LB depth, and another quality edge rusher before they have no holes. Sounds like a lot, but I think the 2-3 biggest needs could be addressed in the draft.

I can’t imagine watching the NFL the past 10 years and even questioning if there isn’t corruption. Legalizing gambling was the ‘slap you awake’ moment for even the most ardently blind NFL supporters. The refs have been deciding games forever but it’s blatant at this point. What is the definition of a catch, taunting, and ‘hurting’ a QB today? Whatever the ref thinks it is for today and the NFL supports this non-standard 100%. It’s laughable to even think these games are decided by the best team. The least penalized wins. Ask the Saints.
