To be fair Jimmy G has won 5 straight against Rams and gets the ball out quick. I agree with the sentiment, as I wanted lance to keep playing. But thats the mentality with Jimmy G.

I think it's a mistake to throw a rookie into a "win and in" pressure situation. Plus, I'm pretty sure they're trying to increase Jimmy G's trade value.

With the way this year has gone, if Jimmy was 100% I agree he gave them the best shot to win. With a hurt throwing hand thumb I didn't think so. So far he doesn't look terrible.

But it's early.
