Keep hearing more and more that Sean Payton might be heading towards the chargers, with him wanting to coach Herbert.

The best coach the Chargers could get is health. They get so wrecked with injuries every year, especially on defense.

The Saints have the rights to Payton until 2025 I think. Chargers would have to buy him out of that.

I was just kind of browsing around and it's kind of wild that the Jets are 5-2 when Zach Wilson is arguably in contention for worst QB in the league. Joe Flacco outclassed him as a QB in the time he had filling in for him. I think they're due for a major slide, especially after losing Hall.

It really seems like what a lot of former players have been saying. Since training camp is so much softer than it used to be and starters are not playing in preseason, guys are not really getting into football shape until several games in and as a result the first few games of the season are pretty sloppy and not really a good reflection of how good teams actually are.

They are a lot like the Giants, winning despite him. Not as much so with Jones but neither of them are really winning them games. Wilson will clearly need to step up now and to say I have doubts is a vast understatement.

The first few weeks of the season were so bad. Sloppy football all around.

Eh, Jones seems to have evolved into a reasonably competent game manager type this season instead of continually trying and failing to be a big playmaker.
Weird what can happen when you get a good coach.

Possible Brady history tonight, not of the good variety. If they lose tonight it will be the first time he's ever been 2 games under .500
