To be fair, Big Ben retiring with two this season also contributes, but yeah, Brady and Belichick's dominance of an entire league will likely never be replicated in pro sports again.
Mahomes hasn't really developed much since entering the NFL. Which is not to say he isn't a phenomenal quarterback, but most of the loss to the Bengals can be attributed to uncharacteristically poor play by Mahomes in the second half, although Andy Reid going full Andy Reid certainly didn't help. If I had to pick the QB I thought most likely to end up with multiple rings out of this years starters obviously I'd pick Mahomes and not just because he already has one, but we'll see how well KC does at keeping a roster around Mahomes, especially with how much they're paying him.To be fair, Big Ben retiring with two this season also contributes, but yeah, Brady and Belichick's dominance of an entire league will likely never be replicated in pro sports again.
That said I can't imagine that stat will hold true for too much longer, between Mahomes, Allen, etc.
Meanwhile Herbert will waste away on the Chargers and he is much more talented than Allen. Fucking thing sucks!Mahomes hasn't really developed much since entering the NFL. And that's another part of the Brady legend, how many (tens of) millions of dollars did he pass up over the years that ended up being spent on putting more talent around him? Can you really picture any other QB being that hungry, having that big a chip on their shoulders, that much to prove?
Also I don't see Allen or Burrow having a lot of longevity if they don't get a better line in Cincinatti and some kind of run game to support Allen in Buffalo. Both of those QBs take way too much punishment.

It should have been the main focus of last years draft, picking Chase was a terrible decision that just happened to not bite yall in the ass. Wouldn't be surprised to see more bad decision making this year. And it'll be the main focus of the draft.

I'm not denying that it paid off in a big way, but that doesn't mean that walking up to a roulette wheel and dropping your all your money on 00 isn't still a terrible decision.Drafting the OROY was a bad choice. Stay tuned for more terrible hot takes from Gavin.
The Bengals don't even make playoffs without Chase.
And they drafted three OL last draft.
This is a pretty retarded take. You literally never know how well any rookie is going to play. Just because you draft an OLineman in the 1st round, doesn't mean he is going to be a slam dunk.I'm not denying that it paid off in a big way, but that doesn't mean that walking up to a roulette wheel and dropping your all your money on 00 isn't still a terrible decision.
Yes Chase is an absolute stud and picking him paid off, but yall had no idea he would play so well as a rookie and you gambled Burrow's future on it. After a devastating knee injury last season yall subjected him to a league leading 51 sacks in the regular season, another 12 so far in the postseason (including a 9 sack game against the Titans), plus however many times the Rams get to him this weekend. And he constantly gets hit or shoved down even when he doesn't take a sack.
I mean I understand desperation after decades of irrelevance, I'd be desperate too, but yall are definitely bargaining away his longevity for this year's SB run.
I didn't understand why I was getting so much pushback over what was a very common opinion and then I realized I wasn't exactly being clear.you literally said "picking Chase was a terrible decision".
He received 39 votes, while Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady got 10 and Los Angeles Rams receiver Cooper Kupp one
Rodgers wins 2nd straight MVP; Kupp gets OPOY
Packers star Aaron Rodgers won his second straight MVP award, while Cooper Kupp and T.J. Watt won offensive and defensive player of the year.www.espn.com
Kupp gets only one vote? Then all but one of the voting sportswriters are faggots who like to suck QB dicks. The year he had, he deserved more than 1 vote
Theres people who think Hester isnt a HoFer?!It’s so sad to see Hester fans beginning the long journey of not making the HOF that we had to go through with Steve Tasker.
I don’t care if it’s special teams: If you are the greatest player ever at that position and then you literally change the way the game is played you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame
Put them both in now.
Take note, if you ever want to bet on MVP's in the future. Don't get enticed by great odds of RB's, WR, and the occasional Def player. It is a QB award now. The best regular season team's QB is probably going to win it every time, if their stats also support the narrative.Rodgers wins 2nd straight MVP; Kupp gets OPOY
