Bears setting a speedrun record for imploding in a season.

Put on ESPN radio this morning and all they were talking about is how none of Chicago's problems are on the terrible QB who must have played futbol in his youth. He obviously blamed the coaches because it's never their fault. ESPN 'experts' played the RPO, terrible coach, needs weapons BS excuses but one accidentally shit on the narrative by saying he was a pocket passer at OSU...which he was. Maybe he's just unable to adjust to not having his WRs wide open 90% of the games anymore? Nah, can't be. He just needs a magical Andy Reed or Harbaugh clone to dumb down adjust the playcalling of the game for him.

I'm not saying coaching is awesome, the Bears aren't a shit franchise, etc, etc. but it would be nice if the melanin players had the same expectations that Tua, Mayfield, Wilson, Goff, Mac, Danny Boy, etc have every year they aren't balling.

I mean, just based on his own words, he's too stupid to understand the plays. He's trying to shit on the coaches but he's really just admitting he's limited in his ability to understand his job.

The NFL doesn't know what it's doing with QBs these days. They want the athletic guy, but they also want him to not need to be athletic, and deliver the ball from the pocket most of the time and then have the ability to do magic when the situation requires, but they are drafting guys that ran the ball all through college and then they're shocked when they can't play traditional QB but then they still don't want to run them because they might get hurt. Guys like Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes are once every couple generations but the NFL keeps trying to turn every running QB into those guys and it's just not going to work most of the time.

Nicely stated. Even guys that excel at first, and there are many, tend to regress after 1-2 years once film adds up. You need a big brain, balls of steel, a fishbowl memory regarding bad plays, leadership skills, and some other intangible- athleticism, rocket arm, pocket presence, or accuracy.

QB is a tough ass job to be consistently great at.

I feel for the Cowboys and their fans. Losing a star player to injury like that, especially when you've got such high hopes for the season, really sucks.

Until Dak is out for the season and the undefeateable RUSH is out there, we never had a chance anyways. Losing diggs sucks, but our defense is still really good still so whatever.

Guess McAfee doubled down the FBI raided his house today, saying his "sources" confirmed it to him. Still no one saying for what/why tho
