What's really interesting is that Kingsbury's coaching career in both college and the NFL has pretty much been year after year of failure, with the only thing vaguely resembling a high point being the offensive coordinator for Johnny Manziel's Heisman season in 2012. Why on earth would anyone be sniffing after this fucking chump?

Yes and no. Wilkes was touted as a "secondary" specialist and look at how much better the secondary got, outside of him thinking he could use Oliver early in the season. Ambry Thomas was a total turd prior to this year, and Lenoir wasn't a ton better. Both are playing WAY better. Hell, even Ward is finally living up to expectations.
The problem is, that kind of came at the expense of everything else and Hufunga being hurt has massively impacted our ability to set the edge and be better against the run.
