I called it when we were down 21-6. We'll come back, make it a game, and lose.

The team just doesn't have the right pieces all over the board. It reminds me of the '06 and '07 Bengals. So talented across the board, but could never put it together.

We can't waste Burrow. We can't. He's amazing. We need a coach that can figure it out.

And fuck Evan McPherson. Dude was so good two years ago. Dear lord.

Also goddamn LA sucks. What a terribly built city. I know I just repeat myself when it comes to this place. But compared to SF where you can just take a train home from shit. Get your shit sorted out, LA.

Rodgers is the worst QB in the league. Old fart who should have retired years ago. He's what Drew Brees would have looked like had he not had the common sense to call it quits when he knew it was time.

To be clear, the 49ers (or another West) team could still snatch the 7th seed from the Packers this year.

But given that _everyone_ assumes the 49ers would have to shed significant salary once they paid Purdy this offseason, this year's performance makes me think that at best they'll be a Stars and Scrubs team for the next few seasons, a threat when their starters are healthy, and an also-ran as soon as even a couple of them go down.

They'd have to beat the Packers for that to even be a remote possibility. And they are 3-4 in the conference now. They'll likely have to go 6-1 the rest of the way to get a chance(with games against the Packers, Bills, and Lions)or hope for a massive collapse by a bunch of teams.

Shanahan is a genius btw. Just making sure people are aware of his greatness.

Trains are for faggots though. LA loves the automobile.

There was a concert at the same time at the Forum. Total shitshow. Thankfully I knew this was the case and walked 30-40 minutes out of the area to get an Uber with a 3 min pickup and got back to my hotel quickly. But I had some friends that were stuck in the parking lot until damn near midnight.

A city of LA's size shouldn't be built like a midwest city, but it is.

I think it is entirely possible the Packers end up at 9-8 (two out of three wins vs Miami/New Orleans/Chicago, and that's it), which is why I said the 49ers or another West team -
Seahawks beat Jets/Packers/Bears/split vs Cardinals, they end up 9-8 and win wildcard due to head-to-head win vs GB.
SF beats Packers/Bears/Miami/split Cardinals/Rams, they also end up 9-8 and win over GB due to head-to-head.
Rams, as they lost to GB, would have to go 5-2, by winning vs NO/Jets /all their remaining divisional games.
Cardinals, if they don't win the west, due to losing to GB, would have to merely go 4-3 by beating Carolina, NE, and splitting their remaining divisional games.

So yeah, if the Packers end up 9-8, everyone in the West still has a pulse. It would be nice if my Pack could whip up a run defense and exorcise Favreroth from Love's soul, but I am not putting money on that happening mid-season.

It truly is perplexing to watch such a great team lose these close games. I know we hate each others teams but I hope the NFL gods somehow allow you into the playoffs. Probably not happening but every game is entertaining.

Chase calling out the coaching after the game doesnt bold well for this season but perhaps for the future.
