I continue to want to see Rodriguez in there, and he did get a rushing TD tonight and looked like a hell of a bruiser down there. Brian Robinson does some stuff well, but far too many times first guy is able to stick and stop him immediately.

On one hand, I love that the kid tries to put the team on his back and has generally succeeded. On the other, I want to be able to just rely on his arm, b/c he can sling the hell out of it, too.

We have a lot of holes, but priority #1 better be building a much better O line. I watch Nix have literal days to throw the ball and not have to escape from pressure so often.

real question is who's going to win Offensive Rookie of the Year between Nix and Daniels

It's not even close, in my mind. Daniels all the way. There isn't a single meaningful thing that Nix is better at.

This isn't even a question. Honestly I have Bowers at 2 over Nix at 3. Daniels easily running away with it. Through essentially only 15 games played (not even really, since he only played 1 drive v Carolina and didn't play a single snap in the 4th quarter in Cleveland blowout) he's at 3,530 passing yards, 864 rushing yards, 25 passing TD, 31 total TD. Might not even hit 500 passing attempts. He's 4th in the entire league in QBR (72.3) only behind Lamar, Allen, and Burrow (Nix is 20th). Stroud last season was 15th in QBR (58.3). Herbert's insane rookie year back in 2020 he was 13th (62.6).

To put his dual threat stats into perspective, if he only throws for 150 yards this coming week @Dallas, he'll have thrown for more yards this year than Lamar has in any season except this current year.

I expect tonight's game to be painful.

Nice to see the 49ers moving the ball well right now at least!

Edit: And now they are going to get ugly and undisciplined. Nice

Nice play there.

I’m so annoyed we are playing our starters.
No chance Campbell was going to sit the starters. I think he wanted to come in and make a statement.

Surprised the 49ers offense is moving so well. I mean I know the Lions are just beat to shit on defense with injuries, but still. The 49ers are on like 5th string OLine now.

Sure am glad the 49ers spent a 3rd round pick on a kicker who makes roughly 70% of his kicks.
