Ya, the wording on it sounds weird but someone from the Cowboys camp has confirmed he won't be back according to Schefter

I can’t wait to hire some guy from the McVay coaching tree. At this point his Starbucks barista has probably been around him enough to be hire-able.

I've got a buddy who is a Green Bay fan, and he desperately wants them to fire LaFleur.

Fans have become so damn spoiled. If a coach can't win a Super Bowl in the first 5 years, regardless of any success they have brought, they want them fired and gone.

It's actually kind of comforting to know that no matter how wild a take I post in this thread it will always pale in comparison to some of the other posts.

Chiefs genuinely might be the worst 1 loss team in NFL history though (I'm not counting the game against Denver)
Oh I don’t think any Chiefs fan would disagree with you. After the broncos game we were all laughing and high fiving. Bronco fans were calling us lucky and we agreed. It was hilarious.

And Mahomes will luck his way into another AFC Championship game. And then get beat by the Buffarees.

I said he was above average. Like most runnign QBs who hit it big, he was amazing until he got a leg injury. He is a better than most,. My main point is that Reid litterally had the same situation in Philly, but is far more successful in KC because the NFL dick rides Mahomes and the division (and conference in general) is generally a cakewalk. And statistically, this is probably the worst season Mahomes has ever had, fwiw, but the division is also tougher than it has been in his entire career at KC. Its a lot easier to win rings when the refs love you and you can treat the regular season like the preseason (see Patriots and Steel curtain era Stealers) because you know you are getting spotted six wins.

Why do you keep saying the AFC is a cakewalk? All the best QBs are in the AFC. The NFC is lame. The NFCS is a joke every year, the NFCN has been predetermined almost every year until...now? The NFCW has had its time here and there, but it's almost always been just two good teams. And the NFCE has always had the dumpster fire Washington whatever-the-fucks (until now), the choking Cowboys, and a god awful Giants (haven't done shit in 15 fucking years).

The AFC has been so, so much better overall than the NFC for a long time. You've got Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Jackson, Herbert, Tua. The NFC is full of teams that are constantly rotating out their QB situations. AFC teams with losing records aren't making the playoffs. While since 2010 it's happened three times in the NFC.

You're retarded.

I predict the Rams roll over the Vikings tonight. No matter how much they perform in the regular season, I can never take the Vikings seriously.

Going to like this post, even if I felt the NFC was actually deeper this year than the AFC (although if you told me 3 of the best 4 teams in the league were AFC I would agree). I would not have included Herbert and Tua. Stroud, for all his sophmore slump, still looks more game to do anything of note than either Herbert or Tua. I think Nix and Maye have a chance to be decent, too.

But the main problem for everyone is still the top 4 QB's (well 3 right now, but 4 if the Bengals can ever get off their asses) all being in the AFC.

good opening drive.

Evidently the NFL will look at making a rule change where this would have been a home game for the Vikings next year. Winning the division will get you in but if the other team has a better record they get the home game.
