Out of curiosity, who should have won it 4 years ago?
I guess Tom Brady:

The one game difference makes it hard to compare.

We can make some comparisons, though. Both teams finished 13-4 (tied for tops in the league), although the one game Rodgers didn't play (covid, remember that shit year?) they lost 13-7 to the Chiefs. Tampa roster much more stacked, top 5 defense, top 3 offensive line (Packers middle of the pack in both). Rodgers somehow put up 4,100 yards and 37 TD in 16 games with his 2nd leading receiver that year barely topping 500 yards receiving. Rodgers also came out at halftime in the final week loss to Detroit with 2 TD and 0 Int at half.

Brady's 719 attempts that year are the 3rd most ever, topped only by Stafford back in one of the Lions' awful years and Brady himself the year after this.

Should have been Brady vs Kupp if MVP votes weren't wildly biased towards QBs.

Nope. Think I showed why it should be Rodgers over Brady already, more important to team success. Kupp's season was great, but it's not like he actually broke any of the single season receiver records (thought he came close on a couple). Hard not to think a good portion of his massive season was from the bump of Rams having Stafford for McVay, too.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if Ward doesn't go #1, but there's still some chance in my mind that the Titans aren't that #1 pick.

Probably unfortunately for Cleveland, I think Sanders does go #2 to them.

Which leaves the Giants in a pickle - overpay to move to #1 and Ward, or end up fourth in the division again with Devito and Winston. At least, I sincerely hope the Giants aren't thinking about taking the likes of Dart at #3.

Feel sorry for the team that does draft Shedeur unless your next coach is gonna be Deion

Why so down on Sanders? Dude is accurate as fuck. Not a good deep ball thrower but the games I've seen he's pretty damn deadly mid game and makes great decisions.

Until his ACL tear Kupp has been missing more game per year than Diggs has in his entire career.

If I told you that Kupp and Kenny Golladay had the same amount of 1,000 yard receiving seasons...

Digs essentially is 26 million for 2 years...if he is 90% of what he used to be....that is still ~90 catches and around 1000 yrs a season. BefOre his injury last year he was on a 100 catch 1000yd pace..which ha has done most of his career he has missed 21 games his entire career 9 of which came last year. Since 2018 he has averaged over 100 catches/1100+ yds per year -except for last year due to injury. This year he should miss the first 4? Games but hopefully he comes back almost as good/as good as he was pre injury. Only time will tell. But he is instant #1 receiver for patriots once he is on the field which hopefully will help the other receivers be better.

Not a fan of the Diggs signing other than he is light years better than anyone who we have now. So that's a thing. Also there are no adults in the room. He sets that tone for the offense I hope. Grade it a 8/10 signing with 7 of that being WE HAVE JACK SHIT at receiver.
