Diggs is an overpay, but frankly the Patriots have been bad enough for long enough (and the roster is limited enough) that they've had to start paying the "Loser Tax", overpaying to get anyone to come in. Welcome to reality Patriots fans!

Russ to the Giants, in my mind, confirms that the Titans' price tag for Ward is so high that (realistically) no one will pay it. Honestly, from a PR perspective, going into his third year, the Titans will be able to plaster Ward's face all over their 2027 stadium opening.

As for Sanders, he just strikes me as a WR with a good arm that will struggle heavily at the NFL level. That's just gut feelings, nothing approaching actual analysis.

That sounds terrible. At least a running back with a good arm (aka the archetypal black QB) can give regular season defenses a major headache while they're still healthy. Out of curiosity I looked up a scouting report, from the first one I found:

Sanders lacks elite arm talent and athleticism. He will not overwhelm scouts with his physical tools or natural talents, despite his tremendous success as a collegian. Though plenty of quarterbacks have succeeded with B/B+-level arm strength, teams seeking a superhero at the position will need to look elsewhere for a dual-threat playmaker with the tools of Josh Allen or Diarrhea Jackson.

As a passer, Sanders tends to take bad sacks when he attempts to chase big plays from the pocket. He drifts and fades away from pressure instead of standing firm and delivering darts under duress. While some of his sacks can be attributed to a leaky offensive line that occasionally wilted under pressure, Sanders' big-play hunting resulted in negative plays, which are hard to overcome against elite defenses.

And this is from a retired scout who thinks Sanders is the #1 QB in the draft.

People keep shitting on black QBs but like...half the QBs in the NFL are black now and black QBs (or at least half black QBs) have been winning all the SBs since Tom Brady left. Except for Stafford.

You have to attribute 50% of Mahomes Superbowls to his white half.

This is just more race-baiting bullshit by a known leftist moron.

People are shitting on ALL the QBs this year. It's one of the worst QB classes of all time.

Yeah, virtually everyone agrees this is a weak QB crop. This isn't racism - no one is putting Jaxson Dart ahead of Ward or Sanders - it's just how the timing of 'Guys that have to declare because they've run out of NIL eligibility' worked out.

Again, I am not by any means a talent evaluator, I just see Sanders settling into a 'decidedly middle of the pack starter you will cringe at paying $40M+ a year to in his second contract' range. Which given the hole Cleveland is in right now, means I dont have optimism for them until at least the early 2030s?

Feels like teams are a little higher on Ward than they were a month or two ago. Or maybe it's just teams trying to convince themselves there is one worthy franchise QB option this year, too. Even now, he'd be ranked at least behind the top 3 from last year as a prospect if they all were getting drafted same year.

I'm sorry, did he say Diarrhea Jackson? The fucking names kids are getting these days. Key and peele need to reunite just to do a new college football players name skit, because the old ones are too tame.
