is this some sort of world record shortest film in history, or did the trailer just give away literally every single aspect, beat, plot point, etc?

I mean unless this is secretly a comedy? Having watched the trailer I have seen the entire film basically and have no inclination to pay money and watch a 2 hour version of it.

i mean, it seemed like it was overtly a comedy in the trailer there.

what other show/movie did this same story recently? "shes your problem now" iirc was a quote? I think that one was a demon pretending to be a little girl.
there was also a similar one with a werewolf.

Might have been part of horror anthologies. black mirror the werewolf one?

So they were tricked and basically locked in for the vampire girls entertainment. Joey lives and takes home the 50 million survival money and her and her kid live happily ever after?

Looks silly, I don't know any of the cast by name besides Stevens but recognize the faces. Even has the one chick that they kind of blacklisted for supporting Hamas. Kevin Durand is usually fun

I'll go if King Diamond did the soundtrack.

I mean you would think but according to TMDB it says "Horror, Thriller"

As far as horror/thrillers go, the "you think she's a little girl, but she' actually a ______" is basically it's own fucking sub-genre by now. Fill in the blank, "Demon/ghost/possessed voodoo doll/horny 30 year old psycho killer with rare genetic disease that makes her appear as a child" etc etc. Yeah I think Orphan started (or at least revitalized) this sub-genre of horror.

The "thriller" portion of the horror/thriller is the suspense and build up to the reveal of what _____ is. The fact that they outright state exactly what's going on 5 seconds in to the trailer means this is either mislabeled and should be "horror comedy" or it's a 90s slasher flick and it's nothing but gore porn with maybe a weak jump scare or two.

Like I know going in to nightmare on elm street or friday the 13th that ___ is some sort of supernatural entity (dream demon/zombie) who's going around murdering teenagers or camp counselors, knowing Freddy Krueger or Jason or Mike Myers or whoever is the bad guy, that knowledge doesn't "spoil" the film because it's not trying to be some suspense filled psychological thriller, it's not even really horror. its a cheesy slasher flick.

Makes me wonder how many of the kidnappers are also monsters of some kind. <Shrug>
Or, who knows, maybe the offspring of monster hunters like Van Helsing.
