I think he's asking if you were rooting for the aliens and the newest film versus the retarded colonist kids.

If you haven't seen the movie yet I suggest not bothering. I didn't care who got mauled, and all the Gen z characters are pretty damn forgettable.

I watched the first 30 minutes and turned it off. I just didn't care about the zoomers and it wasn't interesting because it's the same formula over and over. Predator (one of my most favorite films ever) suffers from the same problem.

The people who came up with both franchises caught lightning in the bottle once and now we have to suffer 4 decades later through all these shitty sequels.

Prometheus had a seemingly decent premise to get away from the formula and explore something different but botched it bigly with Covenant. Predator didn't even try.

Well you definitely didn't miss out on anything.

Predator 2 and Predators were enjoyable enough films. Second one was nice just to have a change of setting, and it actually mimicked the comics which took place in New York versus LA after the events of the first film.

The third one's definitely a rehash but was still fun movie. The AVP stuff is horrendous, and I doubt I will ever watch the Indian girl Predator movie.

I guess that's what I was kind of bums me out about both of the franchises how's that they had a road map with all of the comics and extended universe, and you can kind of see where they maybe got a little bit of inspiration, but Hollywood always manages to fuck things up.

I like the first AVP because it's the one time that you get to see Preds fighting hand to hand at full power. That scene where a Pred grabs a Xeno by the tail and whips him around in a circle while smashing its head through pillars is great

Predator needs to to do something like what Prometheus tried to do and get away from Hunter/hunted premise and make a movie about Yautja on their homeworld. Doesn't even have to humans in it.

The Indian girl Pred movie (Prey) wasn't as cringy as it sounds. Certainly was better than AVP 2: Dawson's Creek or The Autismo Predator

Aside from the original Pred, I think Predators with Adrian Brody was the only who attempted to do something different and was relatively successful at it

I'll have to check out Indian predator then. I do agree that they could do a movie just with predators and no humans.

Actually in the comics the AVP issue zero is basically just all predators on a hunt, and the only text are two guys in a spaceship just talking BS throughout the entire comic. Sets up everything though for the following four issues, which the first AVP movie is very loosely based on that comic series.

I think somewhere along the line within the comics the Predators invade Earth and militaristic invasion. I never read any of those but just saw some video talking about it. That could make a pretty pretty fun movie, especially if it said a little further in the future.

How dare you question the power of autism, even the Predators know how powerful it can be!

I've never watched the movie by the way, but to my understanding it's an abomination.
