Ah gotcha. I still use it because of some of the Apple services like Apple Pay (don’t even know if chrome supports this. Would not be surprised if they do) and based on my super scientific feelsdats I get better battery using it.

But honestly it’s 99.9% because I used it exclusively during my tenure at Apple.

MacOS 10.13.4 is out, and officially supports eGPU's now. They're only saying they support AMD for now, but I plan on playing around with my 1080 tomorrow and seeing what it can do.

Use an external graphics processor with your Mac

I have to imagine it'll work fine since the work around has been working just fine for me.

Pretty happy with WWDC. Dark mode for Mac looks nice.
