When is this game projected to release? If you buy the $150 pack you're basically buying sub time from now till release date + 3 months premium f2p experience? And beta access is only a weekend thing, yes?

I'm tempted to throw $150 at this as the sandbox angle sounds really interesting. The money isn't any issue for me especially if I enjoy it but I don't want to pay for another Aion style MMO. It was very beautiful but the gameplay didn't match me at all. And I really enjoyed Rift at launch but not so much later on. The nerfs to all the classes/combos I liked (Hi2U Rift Bard) just killed it for me. Then there never seemed to be anything else to the Public events that were so much fun early on.


Still the sandbox crafting depth speaks of actual innovation in an industry that has just been sticking to endless iterations.

What exactly is the advantages of having a head start on the land grab?

Are some plots more fertile/productive
than others and produce crafting mats quicker and in higher quantities?

Or

The plots are all the same in terms of fertility/production but some plots are more conveniently located close to cities, quick travel nodes, etc.

Limited number of plots, ideal locations near boat access points/defendable locations. Some of them have nearby rich resource locations (mining nodes etc).

Also there are a very limited amount of non-pvpable locations in the starter areas that are ideal for passive farms that go unchallenged due to being uninteractable by other players unless you fail to pay taxes regularly.

*Friendlies can fuck with your shit in this game* so having one of these non-fuckable farms early on is a large enough advantage to warrant early access.

You better believe I'm going on the hunt for all the pickle farms and light them on fire. IDGAF if my guy goes to jail for a day.

If I understand you correctly, if you don't get a plot in one of the safe zones, then gankers can raid your farm 24/7? Any idea how many safe zone plots are available per server?

I assume they will cost some money to purchase so that would be one perk of buying the founders packages. You will probably start off with enough currency to buy your plot.

This was my issue when I paid for my last night think it don't give key just Flags your account if it don't I would do it for you NP, I was in shower, I see bunch posted since then Flight.

Tuco is going to do it already, but question how do you get the key in case any other Euros run into this we need to help them?

I always assumed it automacticallly linked straight to the account you paid for it with.

Gankers and friendlies can dick with your stuff in the pvp enabled non starter areas.

Plots and stuff require a "Scarecrow" to be placed in order to claim. Of which I hear only people with subscriptions can utilize. Some of the larger plot scarecrows you have to get via some quests and what not.

Of course some of this info is a bit vague, I'll be of more use when I get more time in the Alpha. If Pyksel or Kedwyn are around I'm sure they have better insight in the matter.

How do you protect your plot when your offline? Can you build walls to keep people out and that sort of thing? How much does a standard scarecrow cost? Are guild plots able to have homes inside them or inside their walls for protection?

So... I am up to level 11 and so far it's kinda WoWlike in that it's all questionmark directed questing. Skill system seems sort of like Rift a little bit with maybe a wider range of things you can be in one character. Graphics are decent. I hate my fat big headed dog horse thing. I went through a portal and there was a half naked PRX member dancing like a meth head just on the other side. Scared me crapless. Not sure if the combat is good or if I am just too used to ESO.
