Some critics are absolutely shitting on this movie just because it's "not better than the first". What the fuck? Who fucking cares the first one was the most Super of Super Hero movies ever. One article claimed it was "too anti-war" but I didn't read that shit. Writer probably doesn't know what the fuck Civil War is and the fact it's setting up for that.

Saw it tonight. Not going to spoil anything, but I'll say I loved Avengers 1 and I also loved Avengers 2. Based on the many trailers and TV clips, I thought I more or less knew how everything would happen (to my regret, but hard to resist those clips!), but it turned out there were still some unexpected moments and nice surprises and that was very pleasant.

Worth the watch for sure, I thought there was at least 1 WTF moment but nothing is perfect. Pretty hard to bring a movie like that together with so many leads, but all in all a good job.
The trailer was only a 2 min wait if that, and I was too tired to hang around in case there was a second trailer. But that one trailer promised a lot.

I liked this one a lot - good action, good humor, a lot of good acting.
On the downside, I can't help but suspect they tricked James Spader into voice acting for the movie by disguising his lines as a script the for the blacklist. I would not even be slightly surprised if he recorded the lines while wearing his hat ;p
My vote for line of the movie goes to Hawkeye, in what's obviously poking a bit of fun at both themselves and outraged reality nerds

The city is flying, we are fighting an army of robots, and I'm using a bow and arrow. None of this makes any sense.
I figured Quicksilver would die. There was really no reason to bring him and Scarlet Witch into the MCU fold.
I already know the plot so you posting that doesn't effect me, but it's a real dick move to put up a major spoiler like that imo.
