I dont mind girl power - i just dont want it so obviously thrown in my face.

"Seriously - all that shit going on - then magically these girls show up all nonchalant as if they ALL knew at that very moment to suddenly appear right there. Sorry its just annoying. If they had all been fighting and then ended up together then sure, but thats not what happened.
It is in your face. The choice is now do you accept this propaganda or reject it?

It was very jarring. As soon as it happened my fiance looked at me like, "yeah I know, you don't have to say anything".

This movie was all fan service imo. I enjoyed Infinity War far more. I thought the way they dealt with the time travel was a little silly. It just felt like an excuse to recall previous films.

I didn't think it was a bad movie by any means. It is enjoyable, and a respectable end to the story. But it didn't blow me away or anything.

Time travel is the worst plot device ever. Cap bench paradox? Who cares, if Thanos abandoned 2014 to go forward a decade?

Meanwhile I just couldn't shake how truly terrible, like basically evil, snapping people back but 5 whole years later would be. You get to come back to a world that would have adapted to your absence - food production is down, your significant other has moved on, your home isn't your home anymore, your job is gone or filled... And that's for the lucky ones not snapped mid flight, or with infants now abandoned, etc.

The actual aftermath of infinity war would be mourning followed by prosperity. The actual aftermath of endgame would either be infinity war never happened because fucking time travel, or, absolute widespread misery and starvation and chaos.

Saving people from death is evil because they'll later face struggle and discomfort?

I know its just comic book movies but thats pretty dumb. Would they have preferred to come back right away? Sure. But that would doom all the people born during that five years. Stark wasnt the only one to have a child. Your preferred solution would doom all those people to something worse than struggle and discomfort.

Stark insisted on the morally correct decision, and he was right.

Struggle and discomfort? The entire world population is doubling in a snap. Half the world population has no idea time passed, the other half isn't expecting their return. After 5 years the entire housing situation, crop farming, employment, you name it has adjusted to a setting that is now undone.

Discomfort is you wake up and your office is no longer yours, and you go home to someone else living in your house, and your wife moved on. Then you get to the real fun - the 2 year old whose mom dusted and starved to death, the 150 million other people who dont have jobs either, the lack of goods from food to toilet paper not prepped for everyone to come back...

Just the suddenly homeless + umemployed count alone signals massive potential crime.

You either put things back and make another baby, or you move on. Stark wanted to have and eat his cake - it wouldn't work. The half of humans who just got castaway'd are not going to just suck up the status quo they wake up to.

I assumed he woula' have just brought them back but would have placed the status of everything back to what it was before the snap? I dunno. It's an interesting take though.

He clearly says nothing else changes, just bring them back exactly as they were. If he had set that rule up then he would have un-done people like his daughter and who knows what else.

You know some poor guy was banging some Lady on the edge of a balcony... he gets snapped, she doesn’t...

5 years later he reappears on the same balcony, a couple is hosting a party, he let’s loose a grunting moan and blows his load into the wind and out into the streets below, ass in full view of several innocent on lookers and children...

Meanwhile the screams of people from a plane that had been going over head can be heard as they plummet to their deaths.

I would watch a Seth Rogn and co. style comedy about people coming back from the snap in embarrassing situations.

This idea is amazing. Good indie film material tbh. Maybe one day I'll steal your ideas :)

Just assume the condition was "exactly as they were except change things as to not make it a complete clusterfuck."

He clearly has some control over precisely what happens during the snap, as he (Banner) mentions desperately trying to being Natasha back.

Personally, I'd love to see "After the Snap" about adjusting to life when half the people in the world vanish.

it's an interesting take, the idea of just instantly doubling a population. i don't necessarily think it's evil, just short sighted. on one hand, he's giving life back to trillions... i mean, it's not just earth he brought back... let's ignore all the ecological fallout that would be guaranteed from doubling ALL LIVING CREATURES, not just people. for as many that have moved on and started new relationships, there's just as many that haven't. and again, we're not just talking about couples, but fathers, mothers, children, siblings. he's restoring all that.

on the other hand, stark didn't do it for them. i mean we all want to say that he's grown and is so much less selfish than he was when we met him, and he is. he's grown so much. but he didn't restore balance to restore balance. he did it to bring back peter and clear his own conscience (and stop thanos). he VERY specifically stated that he isn't losing what he got. he loves his daughter and is extremely selfish about her in the sense that he's not going to unmake her (though, as a parent who's gone through a terrible divorce, i'd never wish i was never married because my kids are FAAAAAR more important than my own suffering, so i get it).

but that leads to an interesting question as well... how many NEW kids were made during the 5 years? it definitely needs to be said that reverting the snap and subsequent 5 years would erase THOSE kids, too. BUT that wasn't stark's motive either, not directly anyway... it's pretty clear, i think that this is a fairly gray area morally... it was a completely selfish act, done selflessly.

Lame attempt at clickbait. Cuz movies are cast by petition now, right? Besides, didn't she sign a seven picture deal? (or was that a rumor? I can't keep track) If so, even if she wanted to, she couldnt.
obviously a petition cant remove somebody from a picture deal or a certain role, i was laughing at her cult turning against her because she isnt gay or non white.
