Tavern Brawler is just OP’d, sure for open hand monks, but efficiency wise, throwing builds
Cloud Giant Elixer or Bloodlust, not sure the most efficient, but its easy to accumulate BLEs in Act I, CGEs take a bit more effort in A1
I was trying to get more utility out of Laz then Champion with Silver Sword, messing with a Eldritch Knight, which led to the inevitable throwing strategy-abandoned Eldritch Knight on her when I realized the Trident wasn’t a Polearm (trying to use the three feats for Polearm Hijinks i.e Polearm Mastery + Sentenil) so went for the classic zerker + 2 levels in war cleric for the extra war priest (respec @ 8 for three into Rogue for second bonus).
So after witnessing the Return Pike just completely outclass a Legendary Sword in Act I, I realized my LD build on Shadow Heart, being pretty much complete @ 5 means, I could consider a throwing secondary strat. Oh look at that Selune’s Spear is throwable… and Polearm Hijinks are back on the menu, if the board isn’t wiped in the first round (5 LD 6 EK) for 3 feats. And if I really wanted to min/max I could do this build on Haslin for the +3 movment speed innate misty step…
Of course then I’m asking myself why don’t I go EK/TB on all my guys without homing throwables (Pike, Hammer, Trident?) . Of course I’m sure this would trivialize every encounter…
