It's hard enough getting through act 1 I can't imagine playing the whole game multiple times.

I've completed the game multiple times. Over 2000 hours played. Game is infinitely replayable.

For me? Best (non MMO) game of all time.

The second time is much much easier than the first. You'll laugh at things you thought were hard are now doable by one player or half a party with no problem that was tough the first time with a full party. Knowing what is there, places you can get to and have advantage on the ones you plan on killing (it changes each time).

Yeah, the game isn't difficult. At all. If you just pick skills and equipment willy nilly then you'll have a gimp party. Plenty of videos on YouTube for builds and equipment choices, plus best synergies. If that's not your thing then I don't think this type of game is for you. Or just play on easiest difficulty if you're only interested in the story.

Once you've run through, playing modded can be fun as well. Currently playing a modded run where level cap is 20, added a sniper rifle item, bunch of new monk items, custom classes, and so on.

I just started a hardcore run. The first time through on normal I had a problem breaking into the bandit ruins, just broke in using a few conversations and two turns of combat, boom. Just the way things go after the first time through.

Also I use scrolls and potions and other stuff a lot now. I don't horde them like I did the first time through.

I did a run with a fun build where you just use scrolls. Build was a mixture of classes that maximize your action economy. REAL fun pew pewing Disintegrate.

Playing co-op with my wife. She's a wood elf druid and I'm a red dragon bard because my kids thought it was funny.

This is a great breakup of the tedium of just watching TV.

Solo honor run gone. "What if she beats me in initiative?" Pretty sure she beat him on initiviate.

Lol why the heck would you risk a solo honor run for that? Gnome is sitting on the D&D version of a tactical nuke

Challange runner who runs solo challange runs one after another. No rest, no going back to other areas, no companions, no summons, all kinds of restrictive stuff. I don't think he cared. He moved the barrel but not far enough apparently and didn't send it to camp.

Dumb things. On a honor run I decided to fight the goblins at the grove. Kill the goblins and Minthara. I knew it was going to be tough so I took several smoke bombs from the goblin camp and put them in a couple of places I thought if it got bad I could kite them over there and blow one group of bombs.

Good plan, except I summoned the ogres. First fucking thing is they decided to throw their rocks or whatever and boom all of them and it didn't do anything except half kill themself. I won, but it was not all that easy.

My wife and I are nearing the end of act 1, just cleaning stuff up now. We've probably missed a few things but she really checks every crevace. Just doing some side quests clean up now.

Funnily with the Nere stuff she was pissed he killed the gnomes so she made us redo it and slaughter every duergar in the place, then let Nere out. He was a pussy after that.

I just found it funny how personally she took the gnomes suffering.

That one female gnome always dies, but you can save all the rest without wiping out the joint.

Yeah the one dies and then you have the option of making the Duergar leave and releasing the gnomes and take them out too.

Then you have the option of having that one deep gnome (windmill dude) join you in camp while he heads to baldurs gate.

Kind of at an end. In the creche I can't get past the inqusitor with out Laezel going aggro on me and the part. I've done it before with her in the party and had no problems. But this run I'm a Gith and I can't get any conversation options that doens't either make her leave or go aggro. Even if I get the inquisitor to leave she aggros soon as I zone into the area to get the light of lithander.

Edit
Got it straightened out, killed them all and Laezel stayed.

Usually for that part you can't leave the room until you go into the artifact to confront the Dream Visitor, then share the truth with her so she believes what you were told.
