obviously they both control the sea but there is a marvel version of every dc character, aquaman and namor are different though.

They are both exactly the same because nobody can figure out what exactly Namor or Aquaman are. They try all kinds of brooding anti hero. Is he half human atlantean? (aquaman) is he part of their culture? Is Namor a mutant? What is namor? Is he slipping the pickle to sue storm? They get changed and rebooted more than Hawkman.


Batman was the same batman from Year One to Nu52. Superman the same superman since....the first Crisis? Flashes changed but they were different dudes. But nobody can ever seem to get a handle on an aquatic based dude.

I especially love the "reboot" aquaman in Final Crisis that was ONE PANEL and never seen again.

Marvel is in rights limbo with Namor (universal has released it, but his status as a mutant is in question[fox])

why Marvel doesn't want to make a Namor movie

And as we all stated, khal drogo looks more like Ultimate Namor than Aquaman

Yeah, but Ultimate Namor isn't a mutant. He's one of the ancient race of Atlanteans, except he was a thief and thus imprisoned. Sue Storm's mom let him out of ancient prison.

I see one of the pictures has her "lifting" but did she even lift a single weight during her training? She's undoubtedly hot, but Wonder Woman should have at least a little muscle mass.

I'm not sure I'd describe her as "toned". Really, if DC wants to quell people's doubts about her casting, they need to release a picture of her in costume.

That was more about his perceived acting ability. He looked the part at least. Leaving her acting ability out, are you saying she looks the part too?

I don't see what the big deal is. Then again, I've never read a single Wonder Woman comic (or, hell, even a comic with her in it) in my entire life.

Gal Gadot doesn't look any worse (in terms of muscle mass) than Linda Carter did, and she is pretty much the most iconic Wonder Woman in pop culture.

*Edit* I think it's funny that the bench press bar is empty in the one pick where she's sitting on the bench. That is probably all she'd be able to actually lift.

She could use some more bulk, but at least she doesn't look asweak and waifyas she used to. I think the picture they released (forgot they did) doesn't look too far off (though comparing that to the new ones makes me think some alterations must've been made. Her arms and legs don't look as big in the new pictures, but at least it gives an idea of what they are aiming for.)

Nope, I'm sorry. An actor defied expectations and proved people wrong six year ago, therefore you are no longer allowed to have doubts about any aspect of casting anymore. Ever.

At least Lynda Carter IS a C-cup. The new Wonder Woman has no cup. I am pretty sure many men have more breast tissue than she does. The good news is, its Hollywood and so that can be augmented. Her acting abilities will come down to screen presence and direction. I was not really a fan of hers in the Fast and Furious franchise but those too are pretty acting light.

Comparing her potential performance to Heath Ledgers is just trolling. I realize that nobody would have guessed he could have pulled that off like he did, but to expect that too happen again with this actress is just stupid.

Who cares how big wonder womans tits are? Are they actually going to do shit with her character. They havent since the fucking 70s. Unless you count frank miller feminazi Wonder Woman. They may have to go back to bondage fetish wonder woman when she started.
