I went to the paint shop today to pay my next deposit on my Camaro's body work and paint job, and my wife said she thought I already paid him. I said that was the deposit, this is the next installment. She asked how much I've given him so far, and I told her 10 grand. She flipped shit thinking the 5k I already paid was it.

Stupid woman doesn't know how much it costs to restore a car lol.

Yes, other religions exist. But we never claimed they were fake - we claimed that they are deceived by real demonic entities. Witchcraft is very real too. More or less a barn find. Had rust in the usual spots for 2nd gens, rusted out footboards, had a scuff and spray paint job over the original paint. I've been slowly transforming it into a race car, but it's getting a full blown restoration along with the fabrication.

How well versed on paint jobs are you? Say I have some old Corolla (I don't give a shit about cars other than reliability - just a means to an end for me) that still has relatively low mileage/I can probably get MANY more years out of, but I've kind of neglected the exterior and it looks kind of shit. What if I just wanted to get it looking decent - what would be a good frugal man's option?

I don't know the first thing about doing actual body work or paint work. Way too labor intensive for me to want to do it.

That being said, if the clear coat hasn't been peeling/chipping off, I'd contact a Detailer to see if he can buff and polish it. If that can't do it, you may need a wet sand and buff.

What is the total for paint/body work?

I do agree about chicks not having a clue how much shit costs. We just went through a master shower remodel and my wife thought everything would cost like $5,000.

lol. If you get a nice full remodel you can hit 40k quick as fuck. Bathrooms and kitchens aren't cheap.

This was just a shower remodel. Took our small shower and jet tub out and made a huge walk in. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap, I told her it wasn't going to be cheap, but for some reason she thought we were going to be all in at 5k. Shit, just the hardware (shower heads, valves and diverters) was 2k.

Did you guys see this at the Series last night? Outrageous - and allegedly this guy is being allowed to attend game 5.

Like fans getting excited and interfering I get - but going prying open his glove and then pulling his throwing hand away is just ridiculous
