So far, I'm 5k in. That was just for body work, fixing gaps, and panel alignment. My deposit yesterday was another 5k to finish off dent repair, body filler where needed, and paint prep. I wont be surprised if my next/final deposit approaches 7-8k.

The 305s only had 105hp. The 350s had 145hp. Fucking crazy what emissions laws and an oil crisis did to cars during that time.
Anything 67-72 is big money. The restoration companies are asking 200k+ for fully restored ones. That really drives up the price of the shells.
Chevy's 5.0 305 is an absolute turd not worth building, but you couldn't kill them. The DZ302s in the first gen Z28s were killer engines for their size.
