The shitty state of today's gaming industry is what I love the most about the Steam Deck. What I mean by that is how I have my Steam Deck loaded up with classics and it's just a best of selection as far as most of my interests are concerned, especially for handheld gaming.
I think the Switch 2 is going to become by far the best platform when it releases though. The shitty performance of the Switch is what's been working against it for a long time, with some properly modern hardware it should be the best console right now.

Oh thank you guys for reminding me - I have a cross country flight next month (my first flight since 2016) and I want to order not a steam deck but a mobile emulator (I don't need anything as powerful as the steamdeck) for it.
I was looking at abernicks a few months ago - NL7 tried to tell me to just get a switch and pay the subs but that doesn't really jive for me as I want to play the OGs not the updated versions plus I don't want to be beholden to the titles they have available - actually I only really want like 12 NES games and 2 SNES games
Think I am going to get this one, but I wonder if I will even get it in time
