Travis Keith Garland, 31, a member of the
Goyim Defense League neo-Nazi group, was caught on security cameras entering the Gordon JCC last week with the ridiculous-looking fake beard and rabbi costume as he asked to meet with local religious leaders.
When he was told that no one was around, the antisemite attempted to pass through security before he was kicked out by a guard, with a follow-up investigation uncovering details of his plan to harass those inside the “jew building,”
local NewsChannel 5 reported.
“I wore the rabbi costume and went into their jew building harassing them … and the dude freaked out,” Garland allegedly posted under the username, “kitchenwaffen.”
Another message saw Garland use a racial slur against Asians when describing the guard who confronted him at the Gordon JCC, police added.
Along with harassing the JCC, Garland had reportedly used his fake costume earlier this month to livestream at the Nashville Holocaust Memorial to mock the attempted genocide that
claimed more than six million Jewish lives under the Nazi regime, the local outlet reports.
“We’re here at the memorial for all the Holocaust survivors or victims — if they’re even real,” Garland said in the video, promising another stunt “in the coming days.”
