It only gets worse the more you read about what they've hidden from people, the complete turn around from being as authentic as possible for a historical fiction game, and the director himself acting like a raging twat waffle.

Past a certain point you just see these patterns like Neo at the end of The Matrix and instinctively know when a game or developer is beyond salvaging.

The set in stone rule has already been established that these people hate you and want your hobbies destroyed, so the only winning move is to play by the same rules as them with zero tolerance while blowing up their failings so everyone else knows to avoid their trash.

The really bad part is how because this game slipped the wool over enough people's eyes, the video game industry will learn that they can do the same thing and get away with it.

*It occurred to me that the whole KCD2 Jew/synagogue bit in a game taking place in what was part of the Holy Roman Empire is an awful lot like the forced synagogue segment in The Last of Us 2, down to lecturing the player and "no violence in the holy site, but it's okay literally everywhere else."

As I said above, we're talking about a land smack dab in the middle of the Holy Roman Empire - zero fucking way that it was legal, let alone tolerated.

Therein lies the problem with all of the "playersexual"/player choice cope for these games: if they want to play the whole, "you can choose the bottomed out option," then let me choose the good Catholic who reports the sodomites, Jewish golem witchcraft, and gypsy prostitutes.

Apparently even one of the straight options still has the main character getting literally cucked... well, I guess that explains the glowing critical reviews.

Yeah the gaming industry is just a total fucking joke right now and it's going to remain that way for the next couple years likely as these companies are full of DEI hires and the leftists in high positions who set all this woke shit in motion after gamergate. Right now a lot of gaming companies are trying to purge them but they allowed them to get away with so much for so long that it's proving challenging for them and all this subversive and political bullshit that's been pushing away customers is still finding a way to remain supported.

Good thing is, seems like everywhere I look I am finding loads of normal people/consumers aware of this shit and calling it out. I think that really plays into the way gaming journalism destroyed it's self as well, they've been too out of touch, biased, and corrupted for too long and now they basically lost the entire audience with the only people remaining on their side being the biggest suckers and manipulative sociopaths around. Everyone else is like "STFU we don't care what you have to say or how you feel about anything, just fuck off."

Trump's popular win victory basically signaled how the general public really feels about this woke bullshit and it exposed how the media and internet is highly controlled and out of touch when it comes to the majority of the general public. This has definitely sent the corporate world into panic as they took all the fake smoke and mirrors narratives from the media and big tech seriously as a reflection of reality for so many years. This is a crazy time to be alive but also the best time to be taking a break from new media.

Bruh video game industry has become stagnant as fuck. It's just all remakes and ruined franchise sequels now, at least when it comes to anything related to AAA. Heck even the tech has really plateaued, it's never been easier to go back a couple generations and still be pleased with that you can play, or harder to detect the improvements the latest hardware can offer. Just look at how the latest graphics cards perform with all the high prices and money to develop them:

There is just little purpose in trying to keep up with the latest anymore, we have reached the point where the latest products have never been easier to pass on, where sticking with older games and technology has never made more sense.
