Yeah there's no viable forum for the misc crew, so it's good bye for now as far as I am concerned -- I liked shit posting within the culture of the bro community and that hasn't been possible since bb.com mods bent over to libs. Everything is about arguing with wincel alts or leg beards now because mods refuse to protect the space in any of the alternative sites that have popped up so far.

I'll probably post about books every now and again but it's not the same without being able to spam threads srs.

Sunday full body at gym, Wed legs at home, Friday upper at home. Cardio (walking/bike/rower) most days of week. Nothing hardcore. I'll be 56 in April so I just do high reps lighter weights. Maintaining.

I'm doing 4-5 days a week home-gym.

20-25mins of cardio followed by a continuous fullbody circuit for 3 circuits (between 28-37 sets all together).

I decided this week that every 12-16 weeks I'd do 1 week of just double cardio so this week that is what I am doing.

Currently at about 230lbs. Thinking I might want to lean out to around 215lbs.

Yeah it really feels like forums are truly dying out. The BB misc being taken down was essentially the end of fun general discussions forums for me. There's a few subs I like on reddit but they tend to be highly focused on just one hobby or interest so I don't use them often. The more generalized the subs there, the worse they seem to become, and the popular subs are just full of bots and liberal tools with zero sense of community.

Whenever I take a look at newmisc I am quickly reminded by how I am missing out on nothing by having refused to make an account there. It only seems to have only gotten worse as the months went by and looking at it now, it just seems like there's only trolls and alts talking shit and trying to fight with everyone for the most part. Front page is just a collection of low quality threads with hardly any responses. It's become a good example of why you need some mods who know what they're doing because a forum will just get taken over by undesirables if they don't.

I've checked out a few alternatives but they always seem to be total cesspools of militant incels or militant liberals. It's like there's just no more forums for normal people who just want to chat with other normal people about daily shit. This thread seems to be the best chat about whatever spot for me right now. It isn't the busiest forum but at least the people running it seem to know what they're doing and the threads are high quality with people keeping them active long term.

Holy smokes, with that routine my appetite would go through the roof. I love circuit routines but they make me super hungry lol...

I have a 4yr old and an 18month old. I'm spendings lotttts of energy at this time in my life.

This is a crazy time to be alive but also the best time to be taking a break from new media.

The big companies need to take a page out of DOGE by just starting to purge entire departments and studios, and then set up a blacklist of persona non grata who could lead to another studio getting purged if they were to hire - no - speak with the insufferable prick ever again.

It's the one time that I wish that these mindless CEOs and boards of directors would use their endless greed for some "good" by taking a good, hard look at all of the incompetent, mentally ill freaks that they've allowed to turn their studios into asylums, and axe them in return for hiring only people qualified to make video games.

Just from the perspective of fiduciary duty, they've been failing so long that an entire generation basically just plays minecraft and fortnite, and then watches other people play the games because games suck so bad now.

Time to take a note from companies like even Google who got rid of Rainbow Month and all of the other Cultural Snowflake events; make[/i ] a "toxic" environment for mentally ill troons and blue-hairs.

Sort the list of remakes/remasters by recent for a real laugh.

On the best of days, the development pipeline costs way too much and takes the better portion of an entire console generation, and on the rest they're completely out of ideas and talent.

So, the times when remaking or remastering games that would make sense, you know, back during the PS3/360 eras and earlier because developers were still passionate about making video games instead of interactive movies and propaganda, there's practically nothing. Sony and Microsoft are both sitting on veritable gold mines of classic games that will seemingly never see the attention that they deserve from their respective companies. It's almost as though they're afraid of spoiling people who never had a chance to play them because then they would see the state of absolute shambles the video game industry is in right now.

As for the rising costs, they're prioritizing visuals (I guess?) without an ounce of soul made by developers who couldn't optimize their glorified PS4/Xbone games to save their lives.

The diminishing returns on visuals is so pathetic now and made worse by how companies are insistent on throwing all of the available hardware at shit nobody can even see outside of the aspies at digital foundry, so everything runs worse than it has any right to for being such a questionable "upgrade" from what came before.

You have games like God of War that devolved into God of Woke, which started off because Cory Barlog became a father when no one asked who the actual dad was given what a cuck faggot he turned into. Guerilla went from Killzone to Horizon Zero DEI, Insomniac went from Resistance: Fall of Man to Spooderman, Sucker Punch went from Ghost of Tsushima to Ghost of Wokegay, and of course Naughty Dog went from Uncharted and TLoU to TLoS2 and 4B in Space. That isn't even touching on their moronic live service failure parade and failing upwards morons.

I would be so fucking livid if I actually bought a PS5 seeing the scant few shit games they've managed to squeeze out.

Nice! Do you do full body back to back days? That seems like a lot. That is a good idea to take time off lifting every so often. usually every couple months I take a full week off. I try to schedule it around vacations but that doesn't always work out perfectly. As I've gotten older I can really feel it when I need a break.

I'm sure it's been crazy packed but I've been going on Sundays when the Eagles are playing so it's pretty empty. Sunday I went at 4:30 and it was kinda crowded until about 5-5:30 then it really started clearing out. Hoping with football being over the resolutioners have quit by time I go Sunday. lol
