Initially I was interested in the Sony Pulse buds cuz they finally released a black edition. It's the only one I could use easily with gym and also on the console. Would think because it's Sony that it would align really well with their XM-5 buds in terms of quality but people are saying that's not the case. Apparently Sony's audio division don't equip their gaming division with top notch features which is disappointing.

I mean realistically Bluetooth earbuds are never gunna be next level quality sounding, there might be better out there but Samsung has been solid. I have no complaints given what they are and I'm fairly snobby about headphones

So personally for that category I aim for ease of use, decent enough quality with at least some software eq, good noise cancel/pass through.

The buds are good enough with cancelation I use them on airplanes and the pass thru is good enough that I never need to remove them to speak to someone or just hear what's going on around me. You can customize the touch controls also.

I think with the newer buds 3 you can also use like Ai translating and shit but dont quote me on that

I still use my first Gen buds just for my iPad and office TV

I don't see why you couldn't use the buds with a ps5 but I've never tried. I have used them with my TV Bluetooth though so kinda the same thing unless you need the mic function

Apparently Sony doesn't support earbuds unless it's their own newer models. You need a special dongle to connect 3rd party ones and from what I heard even then the connection is really iffy.

You pretty much need the pulse or inzone ones if you want no issues but I can't justify those for the price. Will probably just stick to my wired headset.

SB isn't a cinematic style game for sure. The cinematics, voice acting and the way lore is delivered certainly aren't up to modern Sony standards. For me it feels like a more old school Sony game in which they focus more on combat and boss fights than the movie-like experience.

Before getting the PS5pro I was intent on replaying games like Ragnarok, Horizon, TLOU 2 but ended up feeling discouraged by all the cinematics. SB kinda just stood out because it's really about the gameplay loop which stays strong for the entire game.

If you get that SH2 lemme know how it goes, I'm about 15 hrs into FF16 and I'm really torn lol. Game has some high highs but low lows.

Decided to stick with it for now and see how things play out. Cinematics aren't particularly important, lore/backstory can be delivered in game through dialogue, interesting characters, side quests and collectibles but the game has none of that, at least none of it done well. Maybe it gets better from here on out

I def want to do a NG+ playthrough so before moving on to FF16, I rushed through that first boring area you talked about and beat the Alpha before pausing at the city because imo that's where the story really starts.

No shame in enjoying a game and skipping cutscenes.

I enjoyed dying light 2 and I skipped literally every single cutscene. No idea what the story was. Just had fun mushing zombies

Yeah my overall opinion is to do whatever the fuk it is you enjoy with the money you spent. There's some people like trophy hunters who might spend more time reading a guide on exactly what to equip and follow instructions on exactly what to do rather than figure it out themselves. Personally I think that's nuts but hey if that's how they derive their fun then good for them.

I think SB has some interesting lore and thankfully the cutscenes aren't long. I really enjoy it for the gameplay first and foremost though. Compare it to TLOU 2 which I find hard to do a replay of, I can def see myself playing SB many times when I just feel to fuk some monsters up

I did that with Nioh. I tried following the story at the beginning but gave up when I had no idea wtf was going on. Still loved it though.

Will be like a couple weeks till it arrives but I'll comment on its clarity vs my corded Logitech headphones. Keep in mind I'm not an audiocel so I'll just be giving my noob impressions.

i actually hate the samsung phones have had many a galaxy and note and hated them all, i do rock the buds and the galaxy watch tho. also i have the samsung soundbar atmos

but once my lg wing finally dies i guess i'll have to go back to a samsung phone

I feel like the more recent phones are pretty damn great. I still have the S23 Ultra from 2 years ago and haven't even thought about upgrading because it hasn't slowed down at all, the battery life is still good, cameras still top tier and the screen has no defects or signs of burn in.

Seems like I can easily go another couple years with it. I know the buds should have the best connectivity with my galaxy but I was rocking Jabra 65s from 2018 and never had issues.
