Vanessa is such a pussy for not backdooring Austin. I can't believe of the poor support from the twins, especially, to Shelli/Clay.

Johnny Mac sounds so much like Bobcat I can't possibly root against him.
HAHA I know right? Seriously would you want a guy who sounds like that as your dentist I am not sure I would feel confident he could do the job well.

Holy shit that whole thing with Clay, Meg, and Johnny Mac was hilarious. JMac's facial expressions into the mirror floored me. And the fact that Meg was that hammered was awesome. I especially like how she shoved her tits in his face when he wasn't responding how she wanted.

I really hope Shelli's gone; one, because I loathe her bullshitting, but now also because I want to see what happens with Meg and Clay. I told my wife prior to all of that (when Shelli was crying about 2 months without him - despite only being there for a month) that I bet they don't talk after the show. I may have been right!

Reading spoiler sites it sounds like a toss up as to who will go tonight but most people are leaning towards Clay going. Vanessa may be running things but James still did the right thing by putting Shelli and Clay up together. You can't let a showmance or a power couple stay too long. Each week it gets harder and harder to break it up. In hindsight though he should have pulled Clay down with the veto and put Vanessa up. Clay is no threat at this point and he's just doing this for "TV time."

I dont know, I think I would want Clay gone. Hes the only physical threat to james. He can come out of this week knowing that he can win every physical competition to the end.

Did James say he "was in the military" and "I was in jail for three years" in the last few episodes? Dude is more than some redneck it seems. I dont see the live streams to get the story, whats up with that?

I was half watching last night with my wife, all I saw was the end where it seemed drunk meg was coming onto Clay super hard. I miss anything else.

I really need a recap show.

I think he said he was a guard. Not sure about the military part, but that wouldn't be a surprising timeline for someone. Military to prison guard isn't uncommon.

He said during the HOH competition that he was pretending to be tired because when he was in the military acting defeated/tired had psychological effects on your fellow soldiers or something along those lines.

So, James straight up said he wanted Shelly gone and then his alliance let their will be bent to the majority. Expected Meg and Jackie to vote his way, at least. Is this the first unanimous vote we've had this summer? Hope it's not a sign of things to come, but unless Jackie wins HoH this week...I think it might be a boring few weeks until the final five or six. That alliance isn't strong, so they could splinter off earlier, but people usually just talk about those type of moves and rarely act on them. I think that's why James is one of my favorites after this last week.

I'm just amazed at how Vanessa keeps falling in line with Shelli despite Shelli throwing her under the bus over and over. I'd say maybe she's only doing it to get ahead in the game, but her confessionals always make it sound like she actually trusts her.

I'm hoping that Julia starts that alliance dissolving. She seems like the only one who recognizes that Shelli is a strong player and that they should have voted her out (outside of James, Meg, and Jackie who I can't figure out).

Highlight was Steve telling Bobcat Goldthwait to try and hook up with Becky at the jury house.

I also enjoyed the "troll" the producers put out with #HaveNoFurry.

Weird...I thought Becky was on Shelly's side last week after telling them James' plans. Glad it's working out this way, though...best season in a long time.

I agree, HoH's are finally going for the throat and getting out the strong players. I was dead wrong about Vanessa too, she played way too hard and it's biting her in the ass.

Yeah, this season has been really good now that's the power has shifted. Much more entertaining.

Vanessa's biggest problem is that she was willing to take unnecessary risks that had no obvious payout. Maybe it was part of her long term strategy but a lot of the drama she started really had no upside for her if it was discovered. But it made it very difficult for her to cover her own ass and keep all of her stories straight.

I like James a lot and think he's playing a good game. I also like his "go for the throat" mentality. Yes he should have vetoed Clay and put up Vanessa as a replacement but at the time he didn't have the same information we do so he made the best choice available to him. So I really can't fault him for that. That side of the house HAD to break up the Clay/Shelli thing and by going for the jugular it caused the Sixth Sense alliance to simply implode.

I think Becky made some good moves this week too.

Steve won Veto so the plan is to renom Vanessa. That's been Becky's plan all along and it sounds like it might work. It made sense to gun straight for Clay and Shelli and put them straight up. But with Vanessa it was extremely important to take as long as possible to blindside her so she doesn't get a chance to cause too much drama and raise a stink. And it sounds like Vanessa is a bit paranoid but has bought Becky's story about putting Johnny Mac up so she's going around merrily creating her convoluted plans not having a clue that she's going up on the block

Now that we're a few weeks in and the whole Sixth Sense alliance has fractured, this has turned out to be a good season. It's never fun when one alliance or group dominates in such a fashion that they just go down the line picking people off. That's what we saw early on but that's changed and it's a much better season for that.

Vanessa and Shelli on the block should make for a lot of crying.

I'm guessing we'll see what caused him to make those nominations on Sunday, but his whole place in the game has been weird. I thought Becky was going to be one of his nominations with his hatred of her, but the only thing I can think of is he picked the two people that he thought were the weakest and least able to retaliate.
