If you guys are going to be so arbitrary and have specific behavior for Tanoomba and no one else and especially don't want him to have any place to post the kind of stuff he enjoys posting (really, hands on moderation in the Rickshaw, to the point of threatening warnings for off topic posts?), you might as well just stop dicking around and ban him. It's not like the previous board or this board is truly some glorious land of "free expression" anyway.

It's cool though that a number of people here who were so self-righteous about the power of this board's new ignore and hated on any type of restricted spaces like the grown-up forum or SFW forums just can't help but forget about all that in the dislike of this one poster. Just fucking ban him and stop pretending.

Yeah, keeping Mist and Tanoomba relatively self-segregated seems like an ideal solution to the problem of many people being annoyed by them. Clearly some people do have an interest in these threads since they were far from dead. Moving their threads so they can't post seems like a pointless thing because now they'll post in other threads and there was nothing in the threads worth ever reading again, so it doesn't belong in the Hall. And anyone bitching about content in the Rickshaw should probably get a warning, anyway.

The Rickshaw has always been a shithole so saying people can't shitpost to their heart's content here is mind-bottling and speaks of heavy bias instead of objective moderation. Not surprising, though.

For the record, @a_skeleton_03 moved those threads without consulting the other moderators. I wouldn't have moved them and don't think they belong in the HoS because they are garbage threads but it's his prerogative to put them wherever he wants.

In the meantime I am setting a precedent that if you have something to say you don't pussy out in the rickshaw, you actually use the rest of the forum. If everyone hates you so much that your every post is being reported the moderators will do what they do.

If you are a poster that only posts in the rickshaw you don't need to be part of this community and you are admitting that for all to see.

This is asinine. Nobody, not a single person on this board except you, had a problem with the Rickshaw being an unmoderated shithole. The unspoken understanding was that if you were posting in there at all, you had already lost. Heck, even Hodj saw it as a place where you can "throw peanuts at the monkeys".

Now, you've noticed that a couple of posters have built up a heavy enough tolerance for ridicule to put up with the stigma of posting in the Rickshaw, and for whatever reason you find this personally offensive. "How dare they derive some form of pleasure from this board in a way that doesn't involve getting the social approval of others! This must be stopped!" The fact that Mist and I kept certain posts to the Rickshaw benefited everyone, as has been pointed out. The sanctity of the public safe spaces was maintained, and we were very, very easily ignored by people who didn't go out of their way to climb down into the sewer and engage us.

You went from "I don't want to moderate at all" to "I'm totally going to over-moderate and try to fix things that aren't broken"... And it's not even for the betterment of the board, which, again, benefited from our arrangement. It just really, really bothers you that Mist and I can continue to have fun here even after being socially shunned, and you think you need to "fix" that. I legit have never seen anything so petty.
