Seems some Basic's have been able too, while others have not, no idea why. =/

That was not really a story... more of a trailer of a story. Its clear that a full length movie in this universe could be pretty cool.

I really hope this happens. Frankly that director and his excellent eye for power armor/robot type things with a property like anthem could make for a really god damn good movie.

I'm assuming that the short was simply a backgrounder for the story we will begin to play through once the game launches. It appears that the girl was a tool the that Dominion bad-guy (The Monitor) was using to try and control the Anthem. She escapes and is found by a Freelancer, and brought into Tarsis. She begins to remember who/what she is, and eventually finds a place to interact with the Anthem, but some betrayal happens and shit goes down between Freenlancers/Sentinals vs. Dominion. Years later, we begin to get hints that she is still alive... and so we begin our hunt.
