Depends by model. Some I think have OTA antennas built in. If not they cost $13 on Amazon for 25 mile radius pickup.
Loving my Direct TV switch few weeks back but I get no networks. Made me miss watching my Macy's going out of business parade today.
I thought about upgrading my TV to a smart one but it is a 42" over the pc monitors LG and I use the blu-ray for the smart capability. No reason to throw out a perfectly fine working good lcd though.

45 and I don't think I've ever bought anything on black Friday.

Target has saved me so much money this year, more than any BF deal ever could.
Their S&S deals have been nuts up until about a month ago.
Things like 6x35lb tidycat litter buys at $5 each after giftcards and stuff included in the deal. That is normally $11-15 per in stores.
Tide HE pods 90 packs, tissue/paper towels and more. All less than half price and they delivered it in like 2 days.
Still feel bad the day the Fed Ex guy brought 210lbs of litter in oversized worthless boxes that I paid $33 shipped for.

These days when you hunt slickdeals daily you find deals as good/better than most BF deals if you are patient.
This is about the only thing I've considered buying outside normal grocery stuff this week.

Yeah, as my wife and I have gotten older and our careers are finally maturing, we've come to the realization that we don't actually want for much.

In fact, last year when there was that billion dollar lottery we were trying to come up with things we'd buy. There...wasn't much. I'd like a couple new pairs of jeans so I can rotate them more often (finally went and did it this year), we'd like new counters in the kitchen (budgeted for 2017 already), and probably a longer vacation that what we currently take. For a billion dollars, there wasn't much. We'd more than likely gift a ton of it and keep maybe $10-20 million.

Black Friday has become more prevalent here, mainly online but shops as well.

Best I could ever come up with was an island, beach mansion or a nice yacht. Everything else was like $100k tops including the new car and stuff.

I'm more baffled people still do Black Friday now that you can get almost everything just as cheap online. I'll be at home dropping the gas tank in my 86, hopefully shit doesn't go full retard.
