Broke down at bsb with my nude run lol.

Killed the machinegun fool on the tower but the stake arm weapon just does not seem as good for my playstyle.

Thats what I love most about this game is that everyone can use each tool to their way of fighting and still be viable.

Oh and I beat 4 bosses today, only one took more than one try.

The one reborn was pretty simple, had to heal a few times but nothing crazy.

Darkbeast Paarl was an absolute joke, maybe I was over leveled or something. Never had to heal, think he hit me like twice and he died in like 45 seconds.

Amygdala was pretty easy as well, just kept hitting her arms and head and she staggered pretty bad. She did come near to killing me when she jumped and landed on me, did like 80% of my health in one hit.

Martyr logarius was the hardest I killed, really just took 4 or 5 tries to get all his animations down with which direction I needed to dodge to get out of the way. Switched to 1h and staggering his melee hits helped a lot.

Beat this today, overall amazing game. Think I had more trouble with the early bosses then the later ones, which most ended up being a few tries at most(2 shot "end" boss and 1 shot "true end" boss). Haven't fucked with the chalice dungeon stuff but want to work on that next.

I did a bit of this, I don't think farming adds any value to games. I'm fine farming echoes for levels, but rare drops for weapon upgrades is some of the most tedious shit ever.

I'm surprised so many people are waiting to finish the game before trying chalice dungeons. I created my first one immediately after beating BSB.

Err, anybody else think Celestial Emissary was even easier than Witch? Good God that might've been the most authoritative wrecking I've ever given a Souls boss.

Down to needing 3 bosses plus final boss. Still need Micolash, mergos wet nurse, and Ebrietas

Gave Ebrietas one shot, she has a ton of life and hits pretty hard. Shouldn't be too bad, not hard staying behind her. Died at about 30% when I got caught on the wall

i'm not enjoying this game as much as DaS1 or 2, the build potential seems super limited without any actual magic system :\
it's still fun but i'm already getting bored half way through the game lol

I'm loving the game with a few minor mechanical quibbles - long long times, inability to port between lanterns, and not much build diversity compated to the Souls series. But the game itself is great. Level design is awesome and I'm really enjoying the monsters. Fuck some of those screaming hag things are actually a bit startling. They disturb my kids hah hah. I haven't found a weapon I like better than the Hunter Axe but I just got that lightning mace thing (the Tonsil?) last night. I'm gradually scaling the Kirkenhammer up since I can tell its going to be beast-mode later. Thought the boss fights were good in terms of difficulty but a bit uninventive so far - I'm a filthy casual now though so I've only killed all through to Vicar. I found her much easier than Father Gascgoine hah hah. I liked the Witches of Eastwick fight the best so far because at least in that fight you have to do something other than just stand behind the monster and swing.

Anyway, best game I've played in a long time. This then Pillars makes for a happy Spring.

Lamp porting would be incredibly sensible - you do it anyhow with a stop in Hunter's Rest - but it's two load times for no reason rather than letting you port from any lamp.

Yea, she's the first boss I'm saying "I'll come back to this later" on rather than just getting it done. She's rough.

I think I somehow glitched her out. I stood behind her and she did quite literally nothing for almost the entire fight. I've beaten all but two bosses and Logarius was by far the hardest for me .

Yeah Logarius was annoying for me; I had the hardest time trying to bait his melee attacks so I could get a parry off, fucker just wanted to cast spells heh.

I managed to get her that way for a little while, not long enough though.
